Good product, easy to install

Disconnected a gas fire place, used this to block off bottom of fireplace, I was a bit dubious but item seems extremely sturdy, and was easy to install and pump up, however it is inflated by mouth so much like filling a large balloon, close valve, job done.

The media could not be loaded. Disappointed - I’ve had this inserted in the chimney since the end of April. Had to attach it to the grate with string because otherwise it was being pulled up the chimney by air gusts. Just 2 months later and I noticed that when I went to re-inflate it, air was escaping through the black tube because it’s fallen apart.Want a refund.

This item was leaking air at the seam and couldn't be inflated.

Works great and easy to use. I would make sure you put it up the chimney as far as it will go whilst still being able to reach the valve and inflation tube. It may need a top up of air every now and then.I am really pleased with it and it's keeping the warm air in my living room :)

We've got an open chimney, however we're not allowed to use the fireplace because of then tenancy agreement. Weird I know, so in the winter months it would get very cold with all the air coming down the chimney. So we bought this in an attempt to stop that. It worked, very well. It's a bit awkward to do on your own depending on your chimney, but once it's inflated and in place it stops 90%-95% of the draft. It's fairly sturdy too as pigeons land on our chimney and knock bits down it. It didn't burst. Certainly worth trying!

I fitted the M size in my lounge chimney in August this year.Last winter we struggled to get this room up to 18'C. Although we havent yet had it really cold, the difference, following fitting, was very evident and the room was hitting 20'C with an outside temp of 7'C.After a couple of weeks, I noticed I had to add air every 7 days or so. A quick prod would reveal the bag had lost some of its air, but was easy to do with the supplied inflation tube.The bag has now been removed, as I noticed it was no longer holding air.Closer inspection shows it has split along one of the seams. I have seen better made 'bag for life' bags than this, that cost a fraction of the cost and for the money, it shows poor design, construction methods and a firm chasing maximum profits.In conclusion, if you purchase one of these, check the seams very closely (should be done in the factory) . If any seams are thin, or taper towards the edge in any way, send it back as there is no warranty other than 30 days returns.
