I've tried a lot of different varieties of black licorice but this is the best. Perfect consistency and flavor. I really don't like it too soft like most other brands. I like it with some chew. I've ordered this about 6 times now and will continue to do so! Love it!

Having owned a candy store, and having a “licorice wall” I consider myself a connoisseur of licorice—especially black licorice, my favorite!I must say that this licorice may be the best black licorice I’ve ever had! It is thick, soft, tender, tasty, not greasy and not sticky. It’s just right.My only criticism may be—and this is obviously very subjective—is that it might be a little sweet. But not off-putting in any way.If you’re looking for that stuff that smells like ammonia, this ain’t it! This is the good stuff!

I love Black Licorice this is a very good Black Licorice

This is expected to be soft but again like the black licorice i ordered from another company, was hard. Not enjoyable at all. Teeth breaker.

thought they were pretty good ,bit chewy, but good flavor. But beware they contain high fructose corn syrup !
