Bottled stuff in packets for travel
Good typical flavor in packets for people who need to take gluten free tamari sauce out to eat or on road trips. Great when soy sauce is usually used for things like sushi.

It was great to have GF soy sauce with me in Japan
Celiac disease has impacted multiple people in my mother's family, including me. Going to Japan was intimidating, but much less so with 20 or so of these packets stashed in my luggage. The soy sauce tastes great. I carried a few with me and used them as needed. I carry them with me in the US too and it makes sushi a much better meal option for me.I've never had these accidentally break open, but just in case, I carry them in a plastic bag. They are very convenient.

Convenience!
I like to have these in my purse for when I go out for sushi. A lot of places still don’t carry Gluten free soy sauce in their restaurants, so this works out perfect!

Best decision I have made this year
Love sushi but don't love eating it without soy sauce? Hate bothering to wait staff or at a sushi restaurant that doesn't have GF soy sauce? Boom, these things are a life saver. I keep a small zip lock bag of these in my purse (that small zipper pocket none of us use) and I always have soy sauce if I need it when out and about. If you don't carry a purse just throw them in the glove compartment of your car (zip lock baggie for spills or weather related leak risks).

Almost 200 little packs loose in a box.
This soy sauce is very good tasting. I had a bottle of San J gluten free soy sauce and needed more. I found the value of these 1/4-ounce packets was cheaper than buying a bottle at amazon.com. I was not going to be near the local retail store for this soy sauce soon, so I ordered online.I was surprised to open the box for these Tamari Soy Sauce Packs. The little packets seemed to have been fed into the box without a plastic wrap. They were in a box of the proper size, inside an outer shipping box. No leaks. But, I counted 197 packets. I had put every packet on baking racks to warm up as they were delivered in cold weather and I did not want them to get wet from condensation when they warmed up in a container. I counted twice.Back to my thought these were fed into the product box. I pictured a machine dispensing the packets through a chute with the amount delivered based on time or weight.I cut a packet open with scissors for use. Not sure how to tear them open.

Black product is the new packaging
I looked up ingredients of two products and it says the same:Black = Sodium 39% = Water, Organic Soybeans, Salt, Organic Alcohol.Gold = Sodium 39% = Water, Organic Soybeans, Salt, Organic Alcohol.Looked on San-J website and they no longer offer gold label product. Ah! Solves the mystery for me but the advertised product picture needs to be changed.BTW: San-J taste better than Kikkoman (alcohol shots) and Eden (moldy).
