Great physical audio switcher with no need to be powered
Worked great for my use case although I don't need it anymore so I don't use it. I was getting some kind of ground loop with the way I was hooking up my headphone amp to my powered speakers. I always had some kind of hum noise which was very apparent when nothing was playing. Also the headphone amp I had always outputted to both headphones and speakers at the same time with no way to choose between them. This allowed me to at the touch of a button be able to stop audio from going to my speaker when I don't want it to, while also eliminating the hum when I'm not using them. I like that its just a simple physical switch and doesn't need any kind of power to functions. But I may have considered something else if it came with a remote to do the switching so I could activate it from my couch. It's my only small gripe I had with it and probably would have increased the cost if it was included in so I guess this way you can save money. It is a small lightweight metal box with probably very little circuitry inside but I didn't feel like it was light enough that it would be pulled off my desk. Its a good value for the money in my opinion and I didn't notice any loss in sound quality or other issues when using this product. Its built well enough that I don't think anyone will have any issues with it.

Solid and simple audio switcher
I have a complex setup with my PC, PS5, EQ, mixer, and DAC/Amps all connected together. I usually route it all to my headphones but recently picked up another external amp paired with some passive speakers so wanted a simple way to switch from headphones to speakers. This does the job with no issues. Sound quality remains the same to my ears. No buzzing or hissing. Solid connections and the box is solidly constructed. It doesn’t require power for it to work. You can have it set up to receive one audio input and then select up to four different outputs (one at a time). So if you want to output to speaker only you select a switch and if you want to output to headphone only you select another switch, which is how I have it setup. Or you can input four audio sources and output all of them to one set of speakers or headphones. Super easy to use and solid switch controls.

Simple component switching
I wanted to use an old Radio Shack MPA 200 power amp that was initially used as a PA amplifier. Single input source was the issue. This passive switch has allowed connection of all my components and works perfectly. I used a sticky label on top to mark the inputs. Quick, easy connection with RCA cables. I'm well pleased and would buy it again.

Simple solution
If you need to share one audio input with up to four different devices, you know you need one of these. This one works great. Simple, easy to use, passive (no power required). It is just works. And the price was right.

Good, Simple Audio Switcher - No Fuss
I use an audio switcher in my home studio to route audio from two computers, and two Pro Tools Digi 003 audio interfaces. I switch back and forth between devices a lot, so I've gone through other audio switches over the years, most have had plastic bodies & switches and wear out over time. This particular swither has metal body with plastic mechanical switches & it is passive, meaning it requires no electricity or batteries to make it work. Because the witches are mechanical, they make a metallic noise when you engage them, no super loud, but not 100% silent either. The RCA inputs & outputs on the rear are nice & tight but not overly so.Several manufacturers sell this switcher, so I'm assuming they all come from the same factory in China and are rebadged for whatever company is selling them. Overall the construction is good, I'm not experiencing any noise or crossover, so I'm assuming the electronics are better than many other similar devices for sale here. Nothing fancy, and doesn't look as nice as the Sima switcher I had, but I blew through two of those in about 3 or 4 years, so they weren't as robust as they looked.

Buy this switch!
I've been an audiophile since the late 1960's. I've tried a lot of line-level audio switches over the years. After a few months, most of them start buzzing or humming or they just cut out completely. This one has done none of the above... not even a hint... it's been working flawlessly for nearly a year. This switch gets my highest recommendation.
