The quality of this paint was far better than I expected, despite how the palette looks the paint is smooth and I used it on high quality hot press watercolor paper. Relatively easy to use on the go too, I plan on using this during my travels and love how it clips to the board and/or book! It doesn’t dry too quick and is fairly easy to mix colors. Best value for a travel palette I have ever seen!

Bright mixable colors, easily activated with water. Very handy box with fold-out mixing areas. I really enjoyed trying it out today outdoors. I added a metal strip to the back of mine so I could attach to a magnetic clip, but it's really handy even without a clip.

Wow I didn’t expect to like this as much as I do. It is teeny tiny and so cute. i know nothing about watercolor painting but the colors are nice solid blocks that are easy to work with as you add water. I think the only thing I am bummed about is it doesn’t include any paintbrushes but thats fine. It seems decently sturdy and is definitely worth the price. I am very pleased with my purchase.

The media could not be loaded. I really wanted something small for traveling in the UK, and this has been perfect!Colors are good quality and vibrant, also blend well, the little trays come in handy for mixing colors. The little leather carrier is perfect to attach to my purse.The clip is a little stiff but I'm sure will loosen up as I use it more.

Love this portable paint kit with its own leather case and bag. Came quickly in good shape and exceeded my expections. It is well made and easy to use with good student quality watercolor paints., and it all fits in your purse or tummy pack or a jacket pocket. It is perfect for spontaneous urban, plein air, and travel painting! Petite and Super Cool! I love it. Highly recomend!

I started the year planning not to buy art products and use up what I have; however, I saw this little palette and ordered it. I must say I'm glad I did. I don't feel comfortable painting in public, but I want to paint more often. This palette is great to slip into my bag with a brush and journal to find a quiet moment to paint. It takes up very little room in my bag so I do not feel like a pack mule. I plan to use the colors included for Journaling. The colors do not have a lightfast rating. I also like the fact that the palette has a bag with clip so that I can attached and not have it get lost in my purse.

It’s a bit overpriced. I would return it, but my 8 year old chose it for birthday present. Does not come with clip to hold paper like the green case version. For the price they could include at least another brush. The bag is cute and the green case is well made. Have not tried the paints yet.

I bought this watercolor kit so I would be able to paint on a trip from NY to FL. It was the perfect size for travel. The paint brush in this kit has become one of my favorites.
