The media could not be loaded. Ive been using this code reader for a week or so, ive found it be quick and easy to use able to read and clear code, its really handy for clearing codes triggered after inlet cleaning where the engine is running with hoses and sensors removed or disconnected.The tool also has basic live data information, engine rpm, coolant temp, long and short fuel trims oxygen sensor values, throttle position etc although basic info its essential for diagnosing vacuum leaks and faulty engine components.Its worth mentioning this tool does not have bidirectional control or advance module and component coding VDIAGTOOL has more advanced tools in its range capable of these tasks also the information available to the tool depends car being scanned.If you’re looking for a budget tool for clearing codes and reading basic live data this would be a good choice and is great value.

Great DIY scan tool especially for those who are new to working on cars. Been using it for a few weeks now and the user interface is great and very easy to navigate through, which especially makes it very easy for a novis to find functions, unlike some high tech tool where you need to know what your doing. Talking about functions, the "MIL Status" function is great. It shows you how many miles back fault codes have been cleared. This could be especially useful while purchasing a used car, as if the codes have been recently cleared it could mean that the seller is hiding something.In addition, the live data and graphing features work well. It allows up to 4 Data pids to be graphed at a time and the Data pids load and update without delay/lag too, fairly responsive. Built quality is good too.Now I do have far more advanced scan tools compared to this as I regularly diagnose vehicles as a side hustle so I do have considerable experience with various diagnostic tools. That being said, this tool does not do anything advanced, such as resets, manufacturer specific data logs etc, it only reads generic OBD 2 data. However, you don't expect any thing at this price range to do any more than generic OBD 2 either. So that's ok.Pros- Decent build quality- Ability to read freeze frame- Good graphing ability- Decent speed- Good user friendly interface.Cons- Only reads Generic obd 2 data.- No special functions. (Not expected in this price range anyways)- Battery test only shows voltage. (Can perform the same with a multimeter)To ConcludeOverall this is an excellent starter diy scan tool. This tool does all the basic stuff you need and it does it well.

Excellent diagnostic tool, couldn't have arrived at a better time, simple to use and easy to understand diagnosing my fault straight away, usual nightmare of adblue systems this pointed me straight to a dodgy dpf injector after researching the fault codes. Fault codes cleared, new part and a dpf clean and hopefully a fixed car.Unit now lives in my gloves box

I bought this to switch off a couple of redundant messages that kept appearing on my dashboard screen such as service certificate expired, and other such things. I do my own servicing and repairs, where I can. It did indicate that there were no fault codes on my car but I couldn't find an option to switch off the messages. Which is why I bought it. I have since returned it. Good piece of kit otherwise.

Exactly as I expected - Can read & clear fault codes (if the fault fixed -even if only temporarily / bodged!).But a decent Garage will have a better version that can do far more including reprograming. A Main Dealer version will be able to do everything.But nonetheless a useful bit of kit (I run several older vehicles as Taxis - so warning lights coming on for real or imaginary! reasons not uncommon).And it's idiot proof to start & use (tested by me!).

For the money, this is a very useful tool, does exactly what it says it can, the way that it claims.very functional and easy to use, gives all codes, and even has a function to explain the source of the code, and the generic code meanings, this is a useful function if you need to know the part of the vehicle that generated the code.

It's good,but I've got another one cheaper from another company and it actually showed my error in more details.Ex. of my error shown on the cheaper one:"Glow plug Circuit fault/Open "And on this one: "Glow plug Circuit fault "I think it's important to know the extra details, might be crucial sometimes❗
