I've owned this for nearly two months. If a measure of how well you like something is how often you use it, I've used mine at least 20 times so far, which is quite a bit. I mostly cook roasted vegetables in it, with a variety of seasoning, but have also made a grilled cheese sandwich, french fries, and other things. It works quite well, every single time. Cooking things perfectly with very little oversight or effort.As others have noted it's very simple to use. Put food in it, cook, eat, clean. Maybe not quite that simple, but almost. I've tried marinading things, adding oil, various seasoning, skipping oil, and it handles all of it well.If I were to advise anyone buying an air fryer, know that with many recipes, you're going to have to flip/toss/move the food around every 5-10 minutes (many recipes are 20 minutes and under). A very small inconvenience. Even if you didn't do this, the food would still likely turn out okay.As others have noted, this is ridiculously easy to clean. 2 minutes in the sink with a sponge and you're good. I suppose you could put it in a dishwasher, but it's ridiculously easy to clean by hand.The recipe book that comes with it is very minimal. There are many more out there, or many recipes online. Or, just experiment!

Great new DASH Ceramic air fryerI am absolutely delighted with the new air fryer which is a great improvement over the original model which I have been using for 5 years. And it is still good enough to give away. The new model comes with digital temperature and time settings so much easier and faster to use than the old knobs . This model is somewhat bigger and provides more much appreciated cooking space. I like the new shape with the carrying handle. It is very affordable - a good thing...

Used about a two dozen times now and food comes out nice and crisp. The heating/cooking is done in about the same time my traditional oven would just finish pre-heating. I imagine it uses far less the electricity than the oven as well. Simple to use with intuitive temperature and time controls. 2.6 quart is perfect size for the two of us. Clean up is easy too. Should have bought this years ago! It may take a little experimenting with time and temp for each item to get it just right, but once you nail it is comes out the same every time. Great for roasted potatoes and frozen items like pierogies, chicken nuggets, tater tots, etc.

This is a good unit, just a little too small for our use. It is very quiet and compact in size. We have ordered a much larger air fryer from Amazon that is supposed to deliver tomorrow. We will be returning this one. Works great, just too small.

The air fryer cooks food well with little or no oil. The controls are easy to use, it's easy to clean, and it's very quiet. Using the air fryer is a good way to cook healthy food with less oil and without actually frying. It comes with a handy booklet that explains how to use it and contains a few recipes. The air fryer comes with a one-year warranty, but if you register it on the Dash website, they bump you up to a two-year warranty. The food that I've cooked in it so far tastes great, and the fries come out nice and crispy without using any oil.

I had seen people on Youtube use air fryers. Daughter-in-law said they loved theirs, so I thought "what the hay" and ordered this one. I am sold. It cooks fast and I don't have to use any oil. We Southerns love our fried food. So far I have just prepared french fries and tater tots. Yummy. No fried food smell, yea! It is a snap to clean and it looks pretty on the counter. When, not if, I get more experienced with the operation, I am sure a larger version will be purchased.

If I had known how much I was going to end up using this air fryer, I would have opted for a larger unit to make more food at one time. As it is, it's a good size for a single person and easy to store. I use it regularly to make crispy air fried tofu, sweet potatoes, green beans, salmon, and believe it or not, steak. I have found, in fact, that air frying steak is the best way to cook it. It comes out perfectly seared on the outside and the doneness level I like on the inside. I coat it with a little olive oil, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. You will need to refer to a recipe online to determine how long to cook it for, depending upon the thickness and your preferred doneness level.The one downside to this air fryer is that there is no way to adequately clean the heating elements and that surrounding area, which gets very dirty fast. I suppose the best way of preventing build-up and rust is to get into the habit of cleaning the area after each use once everything is cooled down and safe to do so. Cleaning the pull-out food reservoir and nonstick tray is pretty easy and they're dishwasher safe. It's still operating perfectly after owning it a few years, and I definitely plan on upgrading to a larger unit for more food capacity at some point.

I saw this during one of Amazon’s many deal days and decided to check out what all the talk of air frying is about. I have to say it was a great decision. This little appliance is very versatile, quick, and so much better than preheating up a full sized oven. It’s great for premade or homemade stuff like French fries or chicken nuggets. It’s great for take and bake bread, it’s great for throwing nachos together in a pinch, it’s great for reheating stuff. Basically it’s just great. When this thing is on special, there’s no reason not to give air frying a try and giving your microwave and oven a break. As impressed as o have been with air frying in general, it is this stylish, low entry cost machine that is to thank. Despite thinking an upgrade is justified, this little unit is still going strong and has met my needs over the past year. I haven’t yet bothered to buy a bigger one. This dash model is pretty good for a house of two. Give it a go.
