Is the date taken stored with photo onto this device?

I backed up photos from 3 iPhones IPhone 4 IPhone 6 Plus ; and the latest iPhone 7 Plus which are dates and including all data files back from 2009. I hope that helps you

This wouldnt work on my android phones.I wouldnt recommend!!😡

can you download photostick photos?

Yes, you can download photos from this Photostick to either a laptop or a traditional tower-type computer. However, it is a bit tricky, in fact I found it quite a bit more than a bit tricky. I suggest you watch some Youtube videos on it, on how to use a Photostick and download photos on it to a laptop or a traditional tower-type computer. It was frustrating to get it to work, but when it finally worked, it was great, a real Godsend, so to speak. Hope this helps.
