Context: I was replacing an old laptop my family was using for the normal everyday stuff: internet, typing documents, spreadsheets, email, etc.Very Easy to Setup, Super Fast, Quiet. Its easily worth the money.

Great Mini PC, but potential fire hazard
If you're looking for a powerhouse in a compact form factor, this mini PC is a force to be reckoned with. Despite its small size, it delivers a stellar gaming experience, handling AAA titles with ease. Performance is smooth, graphics are sharp, and frame rates remain impressively stable. Whether you're deep into fast-paced shooters or exploring vast open-world adventures, this machine doesn't disappoint. However, there's one glaring issue that overshadows its excellence—the power supply. While the PC itself is a dream, the power supply turns into something of a nightmare. It gets alarmingly hot, to the point where touching it resulted in actual burns. This isn’t just an inconvenience; it’s a potential fire hazard, raising serious concerns about safety and long-term reliability. For those considering this mini PC, it's undoubtedly a fantastic piece of hardware in terms of performance. But until the overheating problem is addressed, it’s difficult to fully recommend it without caution.

A great small footprint workhorse and solid gaming performer!
Very glad I took the mini PC plunge. This thing handles any games I've thrown at it, takes up a tiny bit of space, easy access to ports. Definitely worth the not-so-bad price!

Small, but impactful wifi issue, and dodgy power cord design.
Ok, mini computer. But basically unusable for me. Anytime the wifi signal was interrupted the network connection would fail to establish connection back to the internet without a restart. It would connect back to the network, but never the internet. I tried using ipconfig to refresh my IP to no avail. For many users this would not be an issue, but I use starlink and hotspot for my internet in a motorhome, so it's not uncommon to have a drop for a few seconds. Or for me to walk my phones hotspot out of range for a min. Having to fully restart the PC to reconnect is not a viable solution. Also the power input is terrible. It's mono directional, but not clear what direction to insert.

Steele feels kind of laggy after a fresh windows installation
I thought with his hardware that this computer would feel more snappy. It still feels like it lags even with a fresh installation of windows 11.

AtomMan G7 PT
Fantastic buy. It's a "headless" gaming laptop that can handle ponderous workloads/games in a small package. Some (very) minor complaints:(1) I wish they had fully automated the fanspeed, rather than having a button on the front panel, but this is easy enough to solve by just setting the fan on high and forgetting it. The fan is pretty quiet so I don't even notice.(2) I wish I could disable the RGB without unplugging it internally, it's a little distracting. But this is easy to solve by turning the RGB away from you. It's not a big deal.I actually did have an RMA for a faulty rear USB bank, but Minisforum honored it and gave me a whole new system without complaining. But this also gave me some direct experience with the internals. It's easy to tinker with for memory upgrades.Overall, I'm a happy customer!
