As a CarPlay device, this works quite well. Connection is something between finniky and could be better explained, but once you get it to work, it works. As a display for the phone, it's great. You will ahve to deal with on a motorcycle if you don't have cell service, you won't have data/maps etc that you might need. Sometimes it won't connect to my phone, and I have to start over. Well, that happened once. But it's easy to see, works with gloves, and works a lot better than Garmin XT for a general device for phone and maps and such, as long as you want to use the maps on your phone. Not all apps are CarPlay compatible, but that's not the fault of the device. Been through rain, lots of vibration, use it in the car as well when I'm not on the bike.

I was tired of using my phone with a mount for navigation, music, and more. I figured I would chance it with this, and I was pleasantly surprised. The installation was very easy and quick. I purchased, separately, a ball-mount stud that replace one of the handle bar bolts. This allowed me to mount the unit exactly how I wanted it. It is low enough to still see that gauges and centered between the handlebars. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to pair my helmet and phone to the Carpuride to make it work as I wanted. I can now use Siri while I am riding just as you would normally. The size of the screen is perfect for running your map applications. Overall a very useful and well built device.

the wireless connectivity is amazingly convenient! The touchscreen responds well with appropriate Touchscreen-rated gloves or bare hands.One thing I did notice is that if I start my motorcycle after leaving the key on for 5-10 seconds, the unit will turn off and not automatically power back on, I have to unplug it from the USB port and plug it back in, or switch the key off/on quickly, to get it to pop on. This is easily solved by starting my bike immediately after turning the key on.

Bought this for an 1,800 mile FL to NJ ride last week.There are thousands of seemingly identical models out there so this was a bit of a crapshoot.It performed like a champ and is easily one of the best MC accessories I've ever purchased. 100f+ temps and a thunderstorm or two and no issues. Screen stayed readable at all times and not a single software glitch. I'm very impressed.

Terrible purchase, way overpriced for this junk. The operating system is very slow, the bottom left corner of the touch screen is basically unresponsive. The worst part for me is that i primarily got this unit for the coms feature and what a huge letdown it was when we learned we cannot listen to the same apple music as each other while using coms. You can only use one or the other. You cant even adjust volume while using car play!!! Coms and music.. this was the primary reason i even chose it in the first place and wow what a waste of money. Im not even one to complain, but this units operating system is like something out of the early 2000’s. Do yourself a favor and get something else. This thing should be priced at like $150. 👎

First, the mounting is extremely limited. And the stock mount is bulky. I built a custom mounting system to get the screen placement I wanted. It does come with a small block that appears to be for a small bar mount, but there are no instructions on how to use it and the holes don't line up with anything on the product.As for function, it is a bear to get working. That may be the blue tooth headsets I'm connecting to, don't know. But I have to reconnect my Bluetooth earbuds with every start. This adds about 6-8 minutes to get going after getting gas or grabbing lunch on a ride. Annoying for sure. And it is very laggy in function as well. Not totally happy and will look for a similar product that is easier to install and functions like a modern electronic.
