Excellent sharp knives amazing sharpness

Great kitchen knife very sharp just very handy

It’s a nice knife and good for cutting up meat for cooking but it doesn’t give the appearance of a kitchen knife it almost looks like something you’d want for some kind of bushcraft. I think it’s a little overpriced compared to some others but it’s a nice knife.

Does all it says, very sharp so I’m using a finger guard.

It comes in a leather scabbard and is a really unusual looking knife.It is incredibly sharp requiring no effort to cut the thinnest slices of ripe tomato.It's a really good size for loads of tasks and I know it'll be used daily.Excellent quality and presented in a bespoke fitted box. It's fabulous.

I cook very often, and have a variety of chef knives for different jobs. This Shan Zu knife is one that would be better for camping than use around the kitchen as the weight and balance aren't quite right for me for delicate jobs.The blade is good, although being made in China doesn't fill me with confidence that it is Japanese steel. It also only comes with a 12 month warranty, which compared to my other knives which all have at least 10 year warranty if not lifetime makes me inclinded to believe it's not quite the quality that the price suggests. At £45.99 at the time of review it is expensive for what you get.Good for jobs that don't really need precision, but i wouldn't like to finely chop a shallot with it.

This has been promoted as the top tier knife in our kitchen, exclusively used only for cutting meat! It's razor sharp and slices through meat like it's silk. Has a nice weight to it showing of its quality craftsmanship and is easy to grip and use. Worth every penny and am sure with good care will last a good few years.
