Voker Holding Tank Vent Filter (5/8") - Made In The USA - Direct Replacement for Sealand/Sanigard/Dometic OEM Filters (5/8")

In a world where nothing really works, I would have been happy with any improvement to my holding tank smell. But this filter worked 100%. Easy to install. I went from a toxic cloud that swept the dock killing every living thing, every time I flushed, to no smell whatsoever. I was worried at first that the vent was actually plugged by the filter. But confirmed by the slight breeze that air was escaping. It lasted almost exactly one year on my liveaboard boat. Just installed my second one. And, no more chemicals.

Works better than the Sealand/Dometic ECO Replacement Cartridge Toilet Vent Filter. Sealand/Dometic use less carbon to save money. In my opinion, they deceive customers by stating "The innovative concave shape of the Dometic ECO filter assures that malodorous gases are completely filtered through activated odor-adsorbing media." What this really means is that they use less carbon by using that shape. The Voker filter is much larger and is completely filled with activated carbon. More vent air will pass through the media resulting in less odor than the Sealand/Dometic ECO filter.

Pretty standard unit I guess but it worked just fine for our sea ray.

Great product. Stopped the smell from the black tank on our vac flush head as soon as it was installed. Recommendation is to replace every 12 months. I just replaced my after 5 years and I was just starting to get some smell. Very happy with it!

If you don’t have a black tank vent filter in your boat or RV, you really need to add this activated charcoal filter! It will almost completely eliminate those embarrassing foul odors when you flush. Very inexpensive and simple to add to your system.. and only 2 minutes to change filters every six months or so afterwards..

We've been using a japanese knock off brand for a couple years. Decided to go with made in the U.S.A. and man, is there a difference.

I ordered just the replacement filter and found that when I swapped out my old more expensive filter that it required a standard hose fitting adapter to install in the vent line. It will be FAR easier and less costly to replace this filter than the more expensive Sealand version that requires a force fit with o rings on each end. ALways a battle to get the Sealand version installed. This will be a snap by comparison.

Fit perfectly, fixed the smell 10/10! Install was a breeze
