I’ve used this OBD2 scanner on my two cars, and it has consistently pointed me in the right direction, allowing me to diagnose and clear codes after repairs. It saved me from long drives waiting for the check engine light to reset. Setup was effortless—I didn’t even need the instructions. For the price, I expected a gamble, but it works flawlessly, providing quick, accurate codes with no hassle. Great purchase!

One use of this and I saved probably 10 times what a mechanic would have charged me. It was easy to plug in, gave me the results right away, and I was able to reset the code on my vehicle. I had already replaced the vacuum valve, so this confirmed that the fix worked. It's universal so fits any car with the plug.

Pretty good for the cheap pricing! I did expect better especially having multiple different scanners of the year and just had a really nice advanced scanner my stepmom bought me for around the same price on here so also comparing on that. This scanner is great, wish it had StateOfCharge & better battery test or able to perform alternator/starter/battery test like other cheap scanners are able to do. It does say the battery voltage but that’s it so not really advanced. I give it 6.9 out of 10.

Works great. Gives you the DTS codes from the car's computer. Then it's a matter of searching the internet for the possible fixes for your car. Easy to turn off the check engine light when you're done. Inexpensive way to diagnose what's wrong with your car. Well worth the cheap price.

To replace my old one, that took forever to get it to the point where you can fond a fault in the system. First time I used this one I was surprised by how quick it scanned the system ready to view any faults if there are any faults. The old one, similar to this, and another setup I have that connects via Bluetooth, were both as slow as can be. Although not as thorough as the Bluetooth unit I have, but so much faster to get a read out.

Excellent cheap code scanner. Works well and does what its supposed to. Its kinda basic but does the job and has already saved me money on repairs. Check engine light was on and this tool told me it was just a bad sensor which i was able to replace myself for about $20, probably a small fraction of what any auto shop would have charged. So as far ad im concerned this has already paid for itself.

This scanner was one of the lowest priced ones available but it actually had higher ratings by purchasers than most of the others. I figured not much would be lost if it was no good. But it seemed solidly built and gave me an accurate, quick diagnosis. I don't know it's range of capabilities, but I don't know those of other scanners either.

It works for my vehicle and is exactly what I needed especially for such a good deal
