Baggallini Pocket Crossbody Bags for Women 8x8 Small Lightweight Durable Water-Resistant Travel Purse W/RFID

I've been looking for the perfect travel purse for a long time and have tried quite a few, some designed for travel and some not. I've just returned from a month-long trip with this Baggallini purse, and it is a great fit for me.It holds much more than it looks like it will, including a half-liter bottle of water. The front pocket holds multiple lip balms, an Altoids tin that I keep meds in, hand sanitizer, Kleenex, etc. The upper pocket on the front panel is perfect for passport, cell phone, receipts, hotel keys, a thin paperback, and so forth. My cell phone (iPhone XR) will fit in it vertically, leaving half the pocket for other things.The large inside pocket has a great shape, with the bottom being about 2.5-3" deep. I just had a water bottle, a bottle of cough medicine, sunglasses, reading glasses, some candies, headband, ink pen, hand fan, and still have a bit more room. There a slots for credit cards/license, as well as a separate thin clutch that is attached by a clip and is removable, perfect for cards, cash, change, receipts, etc. There is also another zipper pocket inside.The large pocket on the outside back panel is also great, sized for cell phone, passport, etc. My only compliant with the bag is the zipper of this back pocket. I haven't had any trouble with it, but it seems it would be safer if the zipper had to pull up to open, rather than down. However, when I'm traveling in crowded areas, I put cell phone and passport in another pocket, and use the back pocket for Kleenex, lip balm, etc, just to be on the safe side.We travel extensively and this is by far the best travel purse I've used. I've taken it on 3 trips now. Construction is excellent, sturdy. It looks great, very classy. It's big enough for what I need, but small enough to take in crowded areas. I can't say enough good things about it.

Love this lightweight, compact purse! It has many compartment to keep everything organized. It also comes with a small bag, which I find useful. I bought the ink hydrangea pattern. All you need to do is wipe it clean. I have gotten so many complements on this bag!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love the design and functionality of Baggallini purses. I have several of this brand. They are attractive and super light weight. Even the smallest of their designs holds a lot more items than you would have thought. All the pockets make it easy to keep everything organized so that items a person doesn't use often are not in the way of items that are. They are amazing for every day use and for travel. They are tough and easy to keep clean. I rarely use any other brand anymore.

Years ago I was gifted with a small Baggalini crossbody purse. I used it daily. When the main zipper broke, I was sad and didn’t want to lose my perfect carryall. When I found the exact same purse on Amazon, I was thrilled! I love it. It holds everything I need, not too much. It’s lightweight, so easy to clean, affordable, secure and sturdy. I know this replacement will last me for a really long time. Such a great investment.

UPDATE: I left the bag out to the open air for two weeks hoping the strong damp-basement musty smell would dissipate. It did not. Still very strong. I couldn't carry it in public because of the odor. So disappointed! I really did like the bag. It was perfect for me..............1st review: The bag itself is nice. The problem is a very narrow, lightweight strap. I expected a strap that was more substantial. I have had cross body bags (not Baggallini brand) that had wider, heavier straps. I'm afraid this narrow one will cut into my shoulder if I am carrying anything with some weight to it. The next issue is a very strong musty, damp basement type of smell. Not good. I'm crossing my fingers that smell will dissipate. Not sure if I will get used to the cheap strap.

This is a great bag. It’s just a bit small for me. I have quite a few Baggallini bags that are small. I wanted something a bit larger. It has pockets, but not the wallet pocket that I always get. I’m probably going to hang onto it for when I want a smaller bag. It has a zippered pocket on the bag that will fit an iPhone 16 pro.
