A really nice product. I was unsure of it’s practicality and while I waited for it to arrive, I almost convinced myself it wasn’t going to work for me, but it did!I got the 15” Guard to keep the rats from using the cable wires to get on the roof. The 15” gaurd has the advantage of the 10” of interchangeable hole inserts to get proper fit. After putting it on the wires I slid it up the wires closer to the pole side. That way the rats don’t have a roof ledge they could possible jump to, and it is less noticeable. I honestly can’t imagine the 10” being large enough for a rat to not jump over, but even if it is, the inserts make the 15” a no brainer. And someone mentioned weight, it was totally light enough for my intended use. Nice product

Seemed like a great idea. Got it on the wire and the wind took it to the other side of the wire where it is now useless. Waste of money.

We installed on our power line. Easy, low profile solution.

I bought it in December to put it in my power line. We put it there and we're very happy because rodents didn't have access to our roof, it was working fine. But in April with a storm the rat guard came off and we weren't able to find it. A very expensive product to have only for 4 months. I contact the seller but I didn't even receive an answer. I am very dessapointed.

To get any protection at all, you have to install this so that it can spin freely. Unless you have a low spot in the middle of your the cable you're attaching it to, this means you'll need to fasten something directly to the cable down-hill of the rat guard to keep it from working its way to the low end (at which point it will stop spinning and critters can crawl right over it). If you do get it installed so that it can spin, I'm pretty sure it will block rats from that entry point. Squirrels can hop right over it, so you need to also add a length of rollers. This can be a bit of work, but it's much less work than repairing gnawed siding or replacing a roof they've been skittering around on!

This product was a life saver! I installed it on the main power line to my house to keep the squirrels out of my soffits and attic. Works great!!! Critters cants get over or around it. Comes with multiple sizing attachments for different wire size.

Great product. Easy to install on telephone line. We have a line running into our hose that the mice/rats like to run down and get on our roof and in our fruit tree. Witnessed two rodents running down the wire same night it was installed. First one fell second one turned around. Goodbye rodents!Update... two days later and we watched those little pests jump on top of the guard and then jump down onto the wire on the other side. They learn quickly.
