The WiZ Sync Box was surprisingly easy to set up and has completely transformed my entertainment experience. The Google Home integration is fantastic - I love being able to adjust the colors manually when I don't want the sync feature active, giving me full control over my lighting setup. What really impressed me was how much more immersive it makes everything, especially gaming - when I was playing Fallout, the synchronized lighting made me feel genuinely more connected to the game world than ever before. The sync feature truly shines with movies and shows that have excellent cinematography, as it pulls you right into each scene with perfectly matched ambient lighting. The real-time color matching is accurate and responsive, creating a cinematic atmosphere in my living room. Whether I'm gaming, watching movies, or binge-watching shows, this device has elevated my entire entertainment setup and made every viewing experience more engaging.

Backlight looks and works great! There’s no lag in light sync with screen. App has lots of options. I like being able to change the light intensity or switch to solid white backlight.Device works great with Fire Cube (3rd gen) voice commands.Light strip fit easily on 65 inch TV. Strip has clips in addition to adhesive backing.Cons: Installation was straightforward except for issue with the box changing the TV input. Fixed this by changing the CMC setting in the Fire Cube but now the TV’s universal remote doesn’t work with Fire Cube. Fire Cube remote works fine so not a big deal.The box must be on when the TV is on. The box itself runs hot. Information on the Wiz website says this normal.There's no switch on the box to turn the lights off when you want the TV on but not the lights. To turn the lights off and keep the TV on, you have to use app, voice assistant or unplug the usb cable.

The media could not be loaded. This WiZ Backlight is amazing! It's my first time using a product like this, and I always assumed I'd need internet and an expensive hub to set it up—turns out I was wrong. Setup was incredibly easy: just stick the light strip to the TV, connect the cables, and you're good to go! Everything you need is included, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The colors sync beautifully and really enhance the look of the room. The app also works smoothly, and it does the work. My only thing is the thing about not being able to turn off the lights unless you do it manually or with the app. Turning off the app with the syncing device would be great. I recommend this product!

The WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight does a surprisingly good job of creating an immersive environment for watching movies or playing video games. Installation of the LED strip was simple (the light strip itself has 3M adhesive on one side) and there are additional 3M caps to ensure strong, long-lasting application.The TV we installed on is actually 50 inch, not 55-65, but we were able to "fold" the corners slightly and as you can see in the photo/video, the colors still pop on the wall behind the TV matching the video on display.A few comments:If you have other "WiZ" devices, you may need to upgrade to the WiZ V2 app. I'm not sure why the features couldn't be built into the existing app... but after a few tries I was able to "transfer" the old device/settings into the new app.The HDMI Sync Box is required to enable "synchronized" colors with the video display which is a little bit disappointing as most TVs today already have native apps, so if you want to take FULL advantage of this feature you need to make sure you're using an external device. In our case, we're using an Xbox Series X.The colors are bright and transitions seamless. Out of the box the default is "Cinematic" sync, which seems to be more gentle transitions. Other settings include: Vibrant (much "jumpier"), Resolution and Rhythmic. Our preference is for Cinematic.All in all... when it works, it works great. But I have noticed occasional "glitching" from the input video, but it doesn't seem to be problematic with EVERY video. My son plays a lot of Fortnite and for some reason that game in particular tends to have more issues (video turning on and off quickly) but the example video for Crossy Road seemed to work just fine.It may just be a bad HDMI cable included so I'll try and replace that to see if there is any improvement.Overall... this is a fun product and I would recommend.

The only thing not hard to put on was the LED strips but it needed two people. However the set up for it to actually work with my TV was painful. I tried using my ROKU, but it wouldn’t work. It stayed a brownish color. Kept making my receiver switch inputs. None of the syncs were working and I tried them all. Only one was party mode but it never changed with scenes or the rhythm in the movie bc I didn’t have the sync option. It Would never connect to Wi-Fi even though it says to be right next to the device, still didn’t work. It looks cool when it was first put on when my ROKU wasn’t connect but since you have to connect it with a streaming service, it stayed one color-brown.I wish I was able to figure it out and not have to manually change the color because that isn’t the setting I want. I want it to sync with the scenes of the movie/tv show plus the sound..and the instructions don’t tell you how to do that part. Also the customer service chat feature was non responsive leaving a bad experience for me because I couldn’t get troubleshooting help. Spent two days trying even option when googling to fix it and still couldn’t get it to work without having to manually put on the settings.
