I would agree with most of the reviewers, this is a great notebook. I use it for everything, I have recently been renovating a historic home and drawing out floorplans in this is great. I love the date and table of contents and the perforated pages in the back. I bought two for myself but gave my wife one to use as a food journal. That is the great thing about the squared pages, you can use them for sketches and text.I am more than half way through the first book and looking to buy another, I am considering buying the soft covered version of this one because I keep it in my back pocket most days and it takes a while for the hard covered ones to flex enough to not slide out of your pocket when you sit on a hard surface, so buyer beware about that.The price is great, better than moleskin, much more durable and better features overall. I don't worry about the coated pages, I mostly use a mechanical pencil because I am sketching floor plans anyway.

I've been using Moleskine pocket notebooks for the past 10 years, and decided to investigate the alternatives after filling my last one. I'm happy to say that I will be using these going forward. It's everything that the Moleskine hard-bound pocket notebook is, but just a little better in every way. The binding is more durable, the paper is slightly higher quality, the pages come pre-numbered, the signatures are more tightly stitched, the fold out pocket at the back is made of more durable paper. It even comes with a set of stickers, one for the spine, and one for the front, so that you can label the notebook when it gets archived.

Four stars because I bought it as a bullet journal. It does have numbered pages, a table of contents, and light-grey squares that are subtle so they don't obscure the text. That said, Leuchtturm (and other brands offering the features I've just described) doesn't have a size in between the A6 and the A5.

These are literally the best fountain pen friendly pocket books I have found that hold up to the riggers of field note use. The covering is tough. It's not indestructible but very useable and survives riding around in my back pocket. I use roughly one of these a month. The paper is of good quality and is a good balance between ink holding and drying times. For the people giving this a one star just because it doesn't meet your particular needs doesn't mean this is a bad notebook. These are very well made for the price and anyone with half a brain understands that everything is a compromise.

Love this notebook because of all the bells and whistles. I love the grid paper, included sticker labels, perforated pages in the back, and index. The paper quality is rougher and not as thick as Rhodia.

Well made. Not cheap in quality but cheap in price. The binding is excellent. I have bought many notebooksbut this is the best yet. You cannot go wrong with this one, a bargain at that price. Highly recommend it.

A perfect notebook for everyday use. It has everything I need and fits my bag nicely. My next notebook will be 100% Leuchtturm :)
