ABSOLUTELY AMAZING BOOK
I really love how Stewart explains each topic with great insight detail in this book. Each chapter comes with a lot of excercises and some of them really tend to be tough especially at the end of each excercises. I noticed the chapters really complete all the cources that you might be taking up for calculus. Overall, it's a fantastic book ! 😃😀

Fine exposition to the "World Of Calculus"
Pros: The book is fantabulous. I've no regrets of buying it. This colossal beast clocks at over 1300 pages. The author James Stewart conveys not only the utility of calculus to help one develop technical competence, but also gives one an appreciation for the intrinsic beauty of the subject. The font typesetting is fine, and easy to read. Obviously, this is a B/W Indian Edition print, published and distributed by Cengage India Limited. You can't just compare it with the colourful and ecstatic international print. However, this 'dullness' of the pages is justified, given the price bracket of the book. There's an astronomical difference between the cost of the imported International print & the domestically produced Indian print. A big thumbs up from my side.Cons: No access code provided with the book. I think this query has already been sorted out by another buyer; the CourseMate service has been terminated by Cengage, hence no support regarding it. As for the physical condition of the book, it is slightly damaged (bent) from sides (which is clearly evident from the pics I have posted above), probably due to careless stacking and shipping. The package was shipped to me in a makeshift cardboard box, which is fine for me, since it is tons better than the cheap plastic packaging, provided by Amazon for my previous orders. However, the cardboard box was open from one side, at the time of delivery. Another instance of carelessness & recklessness, on behalf of the Amazon employees at the distribution center. Thumbs down.

Awesome
I want to mention three things before actually suggest this book.1) Delivery was a day ahead, as always.2) Packaging is good.3) Page quality is nice. The paperback binding could’ve been made better. I guess after a use of month or two the edges might get deformed a bit. Now, about the book...It has been 5 days straight since I’ve been studying this book. The way the function and the operations performed on it have been described, only renders to the fact that it has been written with a purpose to make the reader understand the theory with intuition. I have got to tell you, if you’re in 11th or 12th grade this book is going to help you like nothing else. Liking this book more and more as I’m shuffling through pages. One can easily visualise the things described in this book.I’ll suggest you to go for it, totally worth of buying.

Worth it
Tons of questions, good explanation, nice print and binding. The only downside is answers only for odd numbered questions, however it's a thick book so it's understandable

Classic
If anyone wants to learn calculus, it is an excellent choice. Every topic has been explained beautifully. Very good for self study.

One of the best books for Calculus
This is the best book for 1st year Engineering Calculus. I will recommend this book 11 out of 10 times for Calculus. It provides theory which build the concept in a good way , examples, and exercises. But the printing quality is not good. Book is totally greyscale which makes the reading dull and paper quality is also just satisfactory.

CourseMate & Ebook are no longer supported by Cengage
Buy this edition only if you want the book alone. CourseMate service has been terminated by Cengage (publisher) & the Ebook was Flash based so it is also no longer accessible. The Author's website is freely accessible to all so no point in buying for access to that. If you want the online course content, purchase a newer edition of this book. Additionally, the product I have received is not in a very good condition : the outer cover is wrinkled and the inner pages also have a fold (probably due to careless stacking). Think before you buy. The book content is still useful so you may buy it if that is all you want.
