Okay.....so how do you really review an exinguisher without pulling the pin and trying it out - which makes it no good and in need of replacement?? I can only say that everyone knows this brand to be reputable. I like that it came in a two pack since we moved into a new home and needed an extinguisher on each level. The thing I don't like about these is the hardness and difficulty of wrapping the strap around it once it is hung. I have arthritic hands so I didn't even try to hang these for fear of not being able to unhook the extremely tight band IF there was a fire. The units are small enough to fit under the kitchen sink - making it easily accessible and they aren't super heavy which is good for us seniors.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I did not want to really give a review of these fire extinguishers until I knew for sure how they worked, but the last one I bought went unused for 7 years beyond date without being used, so who knows. They are small, light and easy to carry in the truck or keep in the kitchen and garage. They are easy to hang on the wall or inside a cabinet/pantry.When selecting one, be sure to see what type of fires it is designed to combat. It matters!The cost of not having a good extinguisher is horrible!
