I got these on sale for a great value. They are comfortable, although a little stiff. I have worn them on several wet and rainy hikes, and my feet did not get wet or cold. They still look like new. I wore good hiking socks with them. I am very pleased with these shoes. If I were a serious hiker, I would probably want to invest in something more than these, but they are great for me as a casual hiker. I have early-stage bunions, but these shoes have a roomy toe box for me and caused no discomfort. I hope to wear these shoes for a long time.

These are great hiking shoes! Light as a feather, not bulky, and feel like air on your feet. I normally wear a size 8 1/2, but as I do with running shoes, I ordered a 9 and they’re perfect. I got the grey color, which is really nice. Regular ankle socks that hit below the ankle bone did slide down into the shoes while walking, allowing the back of the shoe to rub my ankle, so I got some hiking socks that hit above the ankle and are designed not to slide down. Between getting those and making sure to tie the laces tightly, the shoes didn’t budge and were very comfortable. I wore them on a 2 1/2 hour hike on hilly and rocky trails and over streams without breaking them in, and didn’t even have to think about them because they were so comfortable and protected my feet, while providing good traction. A great value for the money, definitely recommend these hiking shoes!

These shoes fit perfectly and are so comfortable. I remember thinking they are soft as a cloud. They are true to size. I bought them for walking on slippery surfaces near waterfalls, light snow and ice. I wore them exclusively on a trip to Iceland. They were comfortable on a wide variety of surfaces and made me confident as we walked. I also plan to wear them in the fall and winter months before the snow get too deep. I think they’ll be great. And I got them on sale, which is even better.

Took these shoes to a hike during a rainier day. They’re super comfortable, not heavy, and sturdy with great traction. They’re not fully waterproof though, so if you think you’ll need to step in deep puddles these are not the shoe. They will be waterproof up to the bottom half of the shoe but if water reaches above that halfway point you will start to feel the moisture inside. Other than that though great shoe for your buck!

I'll start by saying that what attracted me to these shoes was the fact that the insoles were removable. I wanted to wear these outside without placing my own insoles in them prior to give most honest review.So far yesterday, I've done nearly 10,000 steps in these shoes with stock insoles and 5,000 steps today.I'm completely shocked. Earlier this last spring I bought a pair of Sketchers with memory foam insoles. After half a day walking in them, I was in pain. I had bought the same brand of sketchers multiple times and never had those kinds of issues before. Essentially, those shoes only got used for chores time, and I'd take them off as soon as I could. I thought my feet were getting worse (and I'm sure they have) .I bought a pair of arch support insoles and found that I could walk in those shoes, so wore them all the time afterwards with no issues. By the time the shoes were 6 months old, the sole of the shoes got so bad they were detached everywhere but the heel- duck tape was my friend- but I knew i had to replace them. (I say 6 months- but over 2 months of that time I avoided using those shoes at all because of the pain they inflicted on my feet)I cannot say if these shoes will last any longer than the sketchers but what I can say is as someone who has super bad feet- these shoes without my insoles were comfortable. I was skeptical and thought to myself that I'd remove the current and put in my good insoles if this trial period was a fail- but I'll admit, these shoes are comfortable. There's not much cushion nor does there seem to be much of the arch support that my feet appear to demand- but my feet are not screaming at me. I'll probably finish out the day with the stock insoles, and tonight when I take them off for the day replace the insoles with my arch support insoles.I'm completely shocked that my feet are not screaming in pain. I do hope these last longer than 6 months- but I'm well aware I live in shoes during the day, training dogs, doing farm chores, generally hitting 15000-20000 steps in my "work" shoes alone. If these shoes hit 6 months of daily use I'll definitely buy again. I know they are from a good brand so I'm crossing my fingers.I'm pretty sure that anyone who does not have feet half as touchy as mine would never consider insoles- or maybe these just support my feet the way my feet are better than I think- unsure- I just know I would have overlooked these shoes completely had i not been expecting to put my insoles in them and was considering their comfort level out of the box.The very fact that I can still walk right now after the second half of yesterday and this morning is amazing. I definitely recommend these shoes.I bought size 9 because I know my insoles are a bit bulky and I feel as though I could have gotten away with 8.5 (my usual size). I cannot say if these are fully blister resistant- however I will say I've put alot of use into this new pair and not even close to blistering. The grip these provide help their functionality while I'm out doing chores. I believe these are a great value for money, even though I'm pretty certain I'll need to utilize my own insoles for long term proper support of my arches.As I said before- I fully intend on being these again if they are not nearly as fallen apart as my old sketchers were after 6 months of use.

Comfortable shoe. Kept feet dry on rainy days and shallow puddles. Non slip sole.

Great fit & support. Columbia always delivers a solid long wearing product. Definitely recommend this item. Now, take a walk !

Y outdoor needs.Fit:Shoes do seem to run just a little big but I am able to make them work for me by wearing cotton vs nylon footies.
