Easy tp see time
I know I only had this watch for a few days and easy to set the time and date and yes it is not the latest and greatest over priced smart watch but for someone like me who is visually disabled with low vision that can no longer see the time on a regular watch this watch is great and the time and date is brightly lit with big easy to see numbers. The screen is black and a simple gentle tap tap tap on the side button will show time tap again to see date tap again for seconds. I think this watch is old school baby boomer easy back to basic galactic cool when the lighted numbers twinkle off to save battery life. Battery info is on back of watch undo screws to replace battery. Nice screen well made for the low cost. May the force be with you ! :)

Works great for intended use
My wife was a long-time runner (and Boston Marathoner back in the day). She has continued her exercise into retirement but her eyesight has diminished to the point that typical small screen digital watches are hard for her to see in daylight. She complained to me that she had trouble reading the time and wished for a larger screen readout. I bought her two of these watches - one red the other blue - because her windbreakers are those colors and the watches are so inexpensive. (Also, her wish is typically my command.)She got them a week ago and loves them! The numbers are bright and very easy to see and the watch itself is simple to operate. Just push the little side button and the time comes up on the screen. That's it!After a few seconds, the screen goes dark to conserve battery charge while it awaits the next time the little button gets pushed. Easy peasy!

Bought this for my elderly mother with vision issues.
Update 11/15/2024:Well it's two years later and this inexpensive watch is still functioning as good as the day we received it. This means I'm surprised to admit I was wrong about it's longevity prospects and to be frank I'm glad I was wrong. This watch has been a little boon for my mother. She doesn't have to ask what time it is because she can SEE for herself. This might seem like a small thing but for her it's huge.OG Review:My 76 yr old mother had cataract surgery in both eyes over a year ago and her vision still has not improved despite numerous visits to the ophthalmologist an many injections. Regardless she needs a watch with large and bright numbers due to her low vision issues and this seems to do the trick. It's inexpensive and simple so it doesn't have extra functions that she would never use anyway and would ultimately just confuse her. With that being said this watch seems to be a pretty good fit for this particular use-case. The one bad thing I have noticed from the beginning when I first unboxed it is that it's not very well-made. I dropped it on a carpeted floor while I was unboxing it and the wristband buckle popped right off. I got it back on after about five mins of repeatedly forcing it back on the bar but this does not bode too well for the watch's longevity. Time will tell though so hopeful it will last at least a few years.

Nice looking watch but very disappointing functionality
I got this watch for an older person because I thought the larger print numbers would be easier for her to see. It did not work out because in order to see the time, you have to push the crown in each time. When you do that, you get odd shapes on the face of the watch until it finally displays the time. When it does, the time only displays for 3 seconds and disappears. It may work for a younger person, but not for elderly people. It's also annoying that you can't just lift your wrist to see the time, but have to put down whatever you have in your right hand in order to push the button on the watch in order to see the time. In addition, the one tiny, page manual is poorly written and of no help in letting you know how to set time, date, etc.. Just poor functionality all around.

A terrific watch, but some features inoperative.
The hours and minutes set easily, but then it repeatedly failed to finish the other settings of month, day of month or any further settings. As solely an hour and minutes watch, it’s perfect, with a very strong atomic signal. Anywhere indoors or outside! I just wish it provided the date as well. The watch band was wonderfully comfortable and precisely adjustable.I loved the battery light saving feature, very practical and Instantly Readable when required.I’ll keep wearing, and using it, despite it’s defects!

Nice quality watch
Perfect little fashion watch, I bought it to go with some red clothing and shoes. Tells the time and the date that's it. Screen goes black when not in use, perfect pickup for a cheap price. Looks like the expensive smart watches

Perfect for those with vision problems!
Got it for my elderly father, who constantly complained about not having a "good watch", always replacing whatever model he had. Until I got him this large view bright green digital watch, haven't heard a complaint in the 2 to 3 months since he 1st put it on! Pretty cool, and looks alright too. Only thing I wasn't aware of is it goes dark, and u tap the side button to wake it up for however many seconds then back to sleep...All in all, $20 solution to a multiple year problem for my dad, couldn't be more satisfied!

Easy to program & use
Got this for a friend with dementia. She requested an easy watch with a digital display. It's nice that it does not stay lit, as that looks kind of funky. But with one easy press of a button it shows the time, next press the date, third press shows seconds. After a few seconds, the face will go dark. This makes it look a lot like current cool "fruit" watches. 😉
