Really helps with better bowel movements.
Comes unassembled but is very easy to put together with screws and allen wrench which is provided. They give you extras if needed later. I like the flip style to use at different heights. It’s sturdy and attractive. The curve fits my toilet exactly so it doesn’t stick out. I do think it’s a bit pricey but occasionally they do offer it cheaper but I didn’t want to wait. I bought the plastic one but returned it as it was incomplete having arrived without the extension. So I returned and bought this one instead. Overall it’s a good product.

Great purchase, how did I ever go without one!
You have to put it together, but it came with the necessary tools and parts. It took me at most 5 min to put together. It’s sturdy and good quality. It slants down ever so slightly which is perfect for your feet and has grooves to make it slip resistant. It has 2 sides allowing you to adjust the height. Very happy with purchase.

Toilet stand for proper posture
Great size fits right out of the way. The product is very sturdy and functions really well. The product is actually adjustable in a way if you flip it on the other side, it will give you a different height. Makes it really convenient for people who are shorter and taller. Who use the same bathroom. Great for children and great for adults especially when you have a big Thanksgiving meal and you have a little trouble depositing the waste. Stores right underneath the toilet in a wraparound situation. It is not foldable, which is OK because the storage capacity is so good. I recommend this product for anyone who needs it.

Classy Alternative to a Plastic Stool (or a Deeper Squat)
This review is a little long, so I've added some headings for the impatient folks who just want to know specific details: a quick tip regarding stool height, my review, why I decided on this model, and some background info on squatting.TIP: If you aren't especially limber or haven't already been using a stool, you'll want the 7" setting (or model, if you choose to go with a different style). I'm limber and have been using a plastic step stool for a while, and using the stool at 9" is noticeably different in terms of leg positioning. You can always try using a cheap stool that is sold to help small kids reach the sink / toilet so you can get an idea of your squatting abilities.REVIEW: Overall, I'm impressed with this stool. The material looks much nicer than a plastic stool, and it was very easy to assemble (place screw through washer, screw into place by hand, repeat 3x, tighten screws with wrench, and cover holes with caps). The box includes the wrench needed to assemble the stool in case you don't already have one. I subtracted one star because there is an easily visible seam on one of the side supports -- I placed that side on the inside when I assembled the stool, with the hope that the pressure of the center support will prevent any further separation. The grooves on the support surface (likely added for traction because the bamboo is smooth) also appear as if they will be difficult to clean if they get dirty, so keep that in mind if you have people who splash outside the bowl.MODEL / HEIGHT: I spent quite some time agonizing over which stool to purchase. The original white plastic model was NOT a contender because, as one reviewer pointed out, it looks like it belongs in a hospital or long-term care facility. I prefer the sleek look of Squatty Potty The Original Bathroom Toilet Stool- Slim Natural Wood Finish 9", but I wasn't sure how it would work with my standard height toilets. The model I purchased tucks perfectly under my toilet, not jutting out, even when assembled at the 9" height, but this may vary depending on your toilet. If I purchase a second stool, I will purchase the Slim model.ABOUT SQUATTING: If you somehow stumbled on this product page not knowing why such a product exists, definitely check out the Squatty Potty commercial online -- it's short, silly, and educational. I first heard about the product through Sean Croxton -- he raves about the product on some of his podcasts and he has a very short blog post available, with an embedded video, if you perform an internet search for "Sean Croxton Squatty Potty". Then, through the Wellness Mama blog, I learned about KatyBowman, who touts the benefits of squatting (including in place of / in addition to Kegels. If you really want to dive into the biomechanics, I recommend that you either read Katy's blog, Nutritious Movement, or her book, Move Your DNA Move Your DNA: Restore Your Health Through Natural Movement -- they contain the same information, but the book format is much more efficient if you don't want to click through blog posts.

Love the quality and the adjustability. You can take it apart for easy transportation if needed. The look of this is so much nicer compared to the plastic version.
