The ball is covered with hundreds of small mirror squares. They reflect exactly like the mirror in your bathroom. If you shine a light on it, be it spot light, laser or the sun, it will reflect it into many different directions, creating a great light show. It will still work in the dark, but it will only reflect the darkness.

Q: I know it says that the item is made out of foam, but is it hollow?

it’s a foam ball with mirrored tiles stuck onto it, so it doesn’t appear to be hollow, but still very light because it’s made of foam inside

Good Value Disco Ball

The media could not be loaded. We ordered this Disco ball along with the NuLink 6 RPM Rotating Disco Ball Motor with Light Disco Mirror Balls Motor 2 Modes for Indoor Night Club, DJ, Party Decor for our daughters party. The ball is good quality for the price, the right size for the 16 by 24 foot room we had it in. It was easy to hang from the ball motor (replaced a pot-light in the middle of the room). It is heavy enough to hang and spin around. It perfectly created the disco-party feel for our daughters event!

Does what it should do. I got a pin spot light and one of those sunset lamps to shine off of it, make sure you get a disco ball motor if you want it to spin but it looks good stationary also with a light on it.

I'm so cool I got mine for like 40 bucks too. This will definitely boost your man points. 8" disco ball 8" the back. Nice product. I hung them on a keychain swivel. I got 9 strobes and 9 lava lamps.

Looks great!

Size is true and the mirrors seem to be applied well! They definitely could’ve covered the bottom of the ball a little better but not really a huge deal. I was a little worried about it breaking in transit but they packaged it well! It’s not as heavy as it looks (styrofoam middle).
