Bambusa eutuldoides - Asian Lemon Clumping Bamboo Plant - 1 Gallon Size t

As you can see from the picture, the plant is healthy and beautiful. It was superbly packaged, arrived earlier than expected. I was preparing for a later arrival and still need to prepare the planter where it will reside. Just hope and pray this bamboo will live for a long time. It is my first bamboo and I could not be more pleased. I immediately put it in the sun and watered it from time to time until I get the planter ready with appropriate soil. I live in Washington DC where the zone is 7a. When the weather gets colder, I will probably figure out how to protect it from the cold. Thanks, Old Oaks Garden and Nursery ! The media could not be loaded. Bamboo arrived packed well and roots/soil was kept moist. Some leaves had yellowed but that is to be expected due to shipping and time spent in the dark. I ordered 5 bamboo plants. The sizes of the plants were inconsistent. A couple were larger and had a more extensive root system. The others were smaller with less of a root ball…. Thus 4 stars instead of 5. I planted them in berm soil which is a sandy clay mixture. I’m hoping they grow well. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

This plant arrived well packaged and very much alive. It came with a note and an email contact if you have any questions. Nice touch for sure. I potted it immediately, and it thrived... until we had a frost. It is 100% my fault. I was so excited and was fooled by a warm snap and thought I could put it outside. We are new to the Appalachian area, and thinking back a couple of locals told me not to be fooled. I was just so excited to see this grow. All the leaves fell off, but the stems are still green and I am hoping it might come back. I have reached out to the seller for advice. If I have killed this poor thing, I WILL order form the same seller. EDIT: it came back!

Securely packaged and shipped quick. Plant was doubled over in the box for shipment but after potting, water and some sun it straightened right up. Highly recommend

You can get a much bigger one from the local nursery. It’s very small. Grow very slowly. But it lives.
