London Map (National Geographic Destination City Map) Map – Folded Map, December 5, 2023

Nice material, sturdy, easy to read. Not a lot of distracting things on the map. Some people complain it’s limited — well, yeah, that’s why it’s easy to read. Pan out and everything gets smaller and hard to read. Mine is not outdated as someone said, it does include the Elizabeth Line. The Underground map is handy and a good size. The back has some useful info and a directory of somestreets. The Hyde Park Kensington inset is nice. Very handy little map, best of all, easy on the eyes.

For those unfamiliar with London, London proper is actually a very small area with the same border as the original Roman settlement, which is quite small! If you would like to have a map of the entire London metro area, you will need a different map! Giving five stars because I Love this map despite the lesson learned, I even bought stickers to put on it before my trip!

Usually, when I travel with a map it gets worn and torn. But this map seems to be made from plastic, so it should hold up well on our upcoming London trip. I added a photo of the area of the UK that this map includes. Its very street specific, so I think we will be able to get around the city nicely!

Sturdy and easy to use.

We planned a 10 day trip to London. We had no idea where to start as far as our itinerary. Rick provided some excellent ideas with great details. We can even take the book with us and do pre planned self guided walking tours. Great suggestions for lodging, events, sights, transportation, places to eat, etc.
