Capri Tools1/4 in. Drive Universal Socket Set, 3/16-9/16 in. SAE, 7-Piece

I use these daily on a snapon 1/4 14.4v ratchet. I am a diesel tech so anything in a tight area that my normal deep or shallow sets can't fit on ill end up using these and I'll try breaking anything free up to 15mm since I am too cheap to buy a 3/8 universal set. I have yet to break any pins yet and I've taken alternator bolts out and transmission bell housing bolts out both of which are well over 50ft lbs. I would highly recommend these as you get a lifetime warranty with the tool.

Snap-on makes this 'screw' rather than 'pin' type too, for $nap-on price. I bought them thinking I could tighten the swivel joint so the socket would not droop, would hold itself and an appropriate screw/bolt 'in-place'. Tighten as best i could and it Will-NOT become snug in the joint enough to over-come the flop. So I am disappointed.While I am ranting. Shine and gloss does not wow me.Function above all else. Conventional or crows foot wrenches, in a oil ;grease situation need enough roughness to be reasonably held and used. NO Chrome suits me best. Buy a picture if you just want to look at shine.

I now have several capri tools, which have been a pleasant surprise. I purchased this to install 11 mm manifold bolts on my truck. Because of the style of the header, it was damn near impossible to get a grip in the bolts without these.They worked very well.

Break it, take a pic, email it, get new tool. Haven't broken one of these yet but that's the policy, and these are nice. The boxes are nice. I'm a pro 30 years automotive service and I wish I had access to this high a quality tool at this price when I started

these are great little sockets for the money made in Taiwan so much better than china crap. good design socket is alittle deeper than most flex head. also the pivit pins are little hex head screws so could tighten if needed and add some lock tight, then good for life. i am mechanic for 40 years and cannot beat these for the money.

Case is nice, but takes up a lot of space when compared to the size of the sockets. Sockets work well and are durable.

box is a little large to keep in tool box draw. However very nice tool.
