The official Elgato Wave:3 filter feels very expensive for what it is - being five times the price of the Aokeo at the time of reviewing, while offering similar performance.Fit and finish are better than I expected for the money. It attaches neatly and securely to my Wave:3 and looks much cleaner than those big gooseneck arm filters that clutter the desk. In test recordings, it’s been effective at taming plosives and softening breath noise.The universal mount is a bonus: if I ever switch microphones, I won’t need to buy another filter. Materials aren’t as premium as Elgato’s own, but once it’s on the mic you don’t really notice - what matters is that it works and stays put.Would definitely recommend for Wave:3 owners who don't fancy paying the premium for the official pop filter, but still want effective filtering.

It certainly functions as a pop filter. Though I find that some of the images depicting its use here shows it being attached from an under-the-arm position. Fitting it like this, I've found it's much too heavy to stay in place in front of my mic, and only really works in an over position. It doesn't sit very rigidly and I find myself adjusting it often.

Easy to use and fits well on the microphone stand. The quality produces a clean and crisp result regarding the sound it creates.

I'm a radio dj and use this as part of my equipment every time I go live or record, its lightweight, easy to attach and the sound quality with my mic is fantastic, no pops or crackles. I think this is excellent value for money and would use this before spending a fortune on a named brand as they do the same job. I bought the black colour as it fits with my set up. it's durable and flexible, would recommend.

The product itself is awesome. The filter works well in removing the polosives amd hisses I tend to produce.The size is great for my Steel Series Alias Pro. My only quarm with this is that the weight of the filter is too much for the arm to handle. It'll fall all the time unless you angle the arm in a way that balances it. That's one design flaw I noticed. But setting it up was easy. It took less than two seconds of fiddling to stop it from falling. Overall, a good product.

This pop filter provides clarity when using diaphragm mic however the screw attachment and arm are quite fiddly which makes getting it into the right position. For the price it is a good buy however it would be superb with a more responsive arm
