Surpisingly Effective.
I was a little skeptical when I first opened it as it looked rather flimsy, BUT, it worked great. Was fairly easy to assemble and allowed me to stay out in the woods all day. Without the umbrella, I probably would have packed it up in about half an hour. There is some noise from the rain hitting the top, but I don't think that would scare anything away as there was plenty of other natural noise with the rainfall. I don't know how long it will last, but I don't think I would go into the woods without it ever again.

Works well. Keeps you dry
The media could not be loaded. It works quite well. It definitely keeps you dry on rainy days. The video is quite dark and hard to see but it’s raining pretty good and I stayed dry. It is a little flimsy so I would not use in high winds nor would I leave it out when your not in the stand. Also if it’s blowing pretty hard when it’s raining your probably gonna get wet from the side but that’s typical with any umbrella. I would recommend this to anyone because of the price.

I had a few issues with the product. It ...
I had a few issues with the product. It was only $20 and after three days of rain, one day heavy, it kept me dry which is why I'm giving it three stars. It's not worth returning. I had the tree screw holder that everyone talks about stripping out, strip out on me while screwing it in. I feel maybe it's supposed to do that so you don't screw it too far into the tree? I'm not worried about removing it because i won't. Second the straps aren't long enough to go around my tree. I winded up guessing how much play i needed and tied them first as I can't reach the back of my tree in my permanent tree stand. The snaps really aren't strong yet when I went to unsnap them one of them which was tight rip the material a little. You have to unsnap them at the snap instead of just pulling them apart. The first day was light rain and I put it up and took it down. The second day of hunting I put up and left it up over night feeling it was stable. It rained lightly and I had a fourteen year old with me and it kept us both dry. The last day it poured at times and kept me dry. It was loose enough to put at an angle for blowing rain. Shot a doe on day three. I put it high enough to stand up under also.

Sets Up/Goes Down in Seconds! Keeps You Dry!
Been using these for years and they offer great protection from rain. I set them up and leave hanging fron mount in the carrying case. If it starts to rain, I just deploy them in less than two minutes. DO NOT LEAVE DEPLOYED when you are not there. Strong winds will destroy these and all similar umbrellas. However, use as I describe and you should get loads of use and protection!

Now part of my standard loadout.
This is a 5 star product with 2 small problems. I waited until the rain started before putting this up for the first time but it was so easy I don't think it mattered. The frame is surprisingly sturdy and it will actually go back into the carry bag it came with. My main concern was the noise of rain hitting it. While it's not near as loud as I thought it was going to be, the sound is not 100% natural. I didn't see any deer while using it, but I didn't see much all week so I can't blame this umbrella. I don't think it was loud enough to be much of a concern while sitting under it so I doubt it's even audible at 20-30 yards.Problem 1: It started leaking a little after about 45 minutes. I think it's because the fabric is pulled very tight across the frame and the thread holes worked a little loose. It's not enough to make me even look for something else. I think a quick waterproof spray every season would be more than enough to stop it.Problem 2: The pole screws into the tree very easily but will not come out. When I went to take it down the handle unscrewed instead of coming out of the tree. I tried a multitool, but it couldn't grip well enough. I left the small part and returned later with a pair of pliers. I'm sure I can figure out a way to fix it before next season.Overall great umbrella and it'll never leave my pack, but now the channel locks won't either.

works pretty good
this umbrella works good for most trees you have to make sure that the branches above you are cleared out and that you can safely wrap the extension line for the umbrella to seal it to the tree, if you're going to be in high winds you have to be careful because it is an umbrella in can break, the metal used to hold it out is a little bit flimsy but you have to understand its lightweight that's why it's designed that way. if its slow wind you'll be just fine and dry, if its high wind you won't be able to use this product I believe that it would buckle under the wind. but it definitely works and has no odor
