My 1995 Cherokee XJ had OEM speakers in the doors, and they had the horrible sound to prove it. These speakers work very well by comparison, and they can support a good amount off bass as-is. If you are looking to update a worn-out sound system, then I think this should work well for you. However, I am not confident that you will enjoy the sound from these speakers if you are a real audio snob, or if you want something with a big amp that is intended to be very loud.

LITERALLY BLEW MY CAR UP!
Bought these speaker last week, and when they came in I was a little surprised on why exactly they smelled like thermite, not knowing any better I installed them in my 2004 c5 corvette. Sounded great at first but then the car started to get mildly warm, I looked back at the rear speakers and they were both smoking! Not having a fire extinguisher I ran out the car and saw flames coming for the speaker grills around 10 minutes after the smoke, called my local fire department and they arrived right as my entire car was submerged in flames.... luckily I have really good insurance and I bought my self a little Prius! Speakers rating.... honestly not bad 9.5/10

Good speaker for the money. Well-made and easy to install.
These speakers replace original front speakers in my Porsche 993. They fit over factory bracket with slight modification to the bracket. The mounting holes are the same as original and no issue with install depth. The original grill can be used over these Kickers for OEM look.Good sound for the money.

These speakers are awesome. Easy installation, nice crisp thumping base, on the high end clear with no distortion. Kicker always performs and can handle the power. Excellent price point. A must have

Fit perfectly in my Jeeps sound bar
I own an 05 Jeep Tj. The speakers in the Jeep were old, and I replaced them with these speakers. The base isn’t great, but these speakers sound great otherwise. I have a 6” kicker subwoofers in my Jeep so the sound is perfect for listening to some music. Absolutely no complaints. Just don’t expect these to put out a lot of base because that’s not their strong suit, but with a good stereo, and amp, these things put out some sound.

Holy smokes Batman,COMPLETELY transformed my 2003 BMW X5.4 in the door with stock non DSP radio.These things Rock! Old school dude telling you to get off yourcheckbook and buy these. If you are doing these for your E53. Use the factoryspeaker mounts. It was a workout getting the old junk speakers out. But they sound terrific.
