what is the normal operating color of the led light?

They are white and yellow. To my understanding if u turn off and on within 5seconds it will change the color and which it does... Now my fog lights turn off when turning on high beams. So i thought they would stay the color i wanted (white in my case) but they dont, they switch between the 2 colors no matter how long the high beams r on. It might be different on ur vehicle. I have them in a 2002 chevy avalanche. I like em cus they r bright but i dont like them because they cycle between the 2 when switching head light beams (high and low). If i did it again i would by one color that id want. Ur vehicle may operate them differently.

I installed both lamps. when i turn them on both white light. i turn off and on again and one is yellow and the other is still white. is it defective

These bulbs should start at white, and if you flash your high beams they should change to yellow. If yours are not changing together, reinstall. After that if they do not work, they could be defective.
