Quality not quite what it used to be but by modern standards it could be classed as reasonable.

As a keen gardener I buy multi purpose compost from Amazon all year round as well as making my own. I have used Jack's Magic compost many times over the years so I know it gives good results!It's delivered as seen - in a plastic sack - you definitely do get 60Litres! Settling in transit may give the impression that there is less - but trust me - there's 60 Litres!Delving your hands into this and you can feel that it's good stuff. It's clean - has good structure to it - you can see the added granular nutrients that break down over the weeks to provide a feed for you plants - there is woody fibrous material that helps retain moisture levels in dry periods (so long as you water regularly)I have used it to fill containers and baskets and to pot on bigger seedlings of flowers - sunflowers to green beans tomatoes - onions - pak choi - cucumbers - beets - cauliflowers and the list goes on as I'm a long time veg grower.I will upload a few photos to back this review up and all grown using this stuff! I even bought several bags to top dress my raised beds.Note - I would not use this for sowing fine seeds and would rather use a proper finer granulated seed sowing compost.As I 've used this many a time over the years with fantastic results I can highly recommend this one and will even go as far to say it's as good as (if not better) than miracle gro compost!

Used for potting on begonias

Not happy with composition of compost. Does not seem as good as it usually is. Only time will tell if it is up to scratch
