OtterBox Symmetry Series Case for Samsung Galaxy Note8 - Black - Samsung 256GB EVO Plus Class 10 UHS-I microSDXC U3 with Adapter - Samsung Note 8 Replacement Pen - Gray

I've been a huge fan of Otterbox cases for years but this clear case is a huge disappointment for me. First, I have had the case for almost a month now but there are too many scratches. (What happened to "scratch resistance" as advertised? ) I handle my phone very gently (with the clear case on) but still scratched. These scratches and finger prints make both the phone and the case really ugly. C'mon, it is an expensive case but can't handle scratches and the finger prints? I should have gone to a different brand.... very disappointed.

Poor protection. Purchased along with the safety glass and the phone is cracked. Doea not protect the screen sides in any way. This is coming from someone who is very careful with their phone. I'm going to say partial blame is for the phone design itself, but they really should have thought about protection for the design when creating this case for their product line, especially for the price. This company used to have ideal protection. I'd give this case zero stars if possible.

Had several otterboxes over the years never any issues. This one doesn't allow me to turn up or down the volume. My wife got the berry one and is having the same issue.

I like this case. It's a slim case but it fits well. The one thing I don't really like about the case would be the rubber buttons. It tends to slide off when hard pressed. The buttons do need a bit of pressure to press, but they are responsive. I accidentally dropped my phone onto the street when I opened my truck door forgetting that I had my phone on the hand rest. The impact was on the top right corner next to microphone. There was a good scratch on the case, but thankfully nothing broke on my phone. As with any case, nothing will protect your screen if it falls face first. So I'm just glad that the case did its job in protecting my phone.

very disappointed with this case for the samsung note 8. ive always used otterbox cases (defender, commuter, and symmetry for older notes) but this model missed the mark. the biggest issue is the misalignment of the volume and power buttons. its nearly impossible to properly use the buttons with the case on. the bottom access for the s pen is also tight and poorly aligned- the pen does not eject smoothly and usually gets caught on the case and has to be pulled out with your fingernail... i will be returning this case asap.

Great product. The raisivity when screen is face down is higher then my Samsung and Tech 21 evo case. Tech 21 is good but finger print friendly. The samsung case is also a 5 star case because of the multiple functionality with the recessed kickstand but noticeably thicker than the Otterbox. This case is wonderful in the hands, nice matt black smudge & fingerprint free and extremely durable. I previously had an Otterbox case along with the rest of my family members and have never had an issue. Otter box has 100% the best phone cases on the market!

This case seems to do an ok job but I have 2 major issues with it.1. It is really difficult to get the SPen out with this case on. It blocks access to be able to pull it out after pushing it and getting it to pop out.2. When I used the volume buttons or the Bixby button the case flexes and makes it nearly impossible to hit them. I find myself taking the case of to do this.I would not buy this case again and am considering changing to a different brand.

The volume buttons do not line up , i cant even get them to work with the case on! Came in otterbox packaging but quality is way off. Not the otterbox im used to, will hopefully be able to return and I'll change review based on seller feedback.
