This equipment pack is huge! Tons of figures,tanks,artillery,Calvary you name it. Now, you do not need it but it’s way better with actual tanks and figures than just using the little markers. Also has lots of scenarios with it. If your a huge memoir 44 fan, get it before you can’t, cause it’s getting harder to find without paying a ridiculous amount on eBay.

Memoir '44 is pretty easy to learn and has a wonderful series of historical battles for those who love to play 2-player games like this. TONS of expansions as well.

I absolutely love this expansion to MEMOIR '44.I think the Political Commissar chip and the Russian Command Rules are genius!The included scenarios are top notch: My absolute favorite from the pack is the RED BARRICADES scenario in Stalingrad. The two scenarios around Kursk in 1943 are PONIRY and PROKHOROVKA, this last one is in OVERLORD MODE.This Army pack is loaded with Soviet artillery, specifically the ZIS-3 pieces, the famous and ubiquitous T-34 tanks, and Soviet infantry. This expansion is worth every penny. Make sure to also order the Winter/Desert map. Battling in the snow is something else. The map is beautiful, a work of art in itself. Additionally, I had loads of fun using the Special Operations Combat cards in conjunction with some of the scenarios in this expansion, namely with the scenario that includes the Winter War battle in Finland: SUOMUSSALMI, the RED BARRICADES (of course!), and PROKHOROVKA PONIRY. I would also suggest prepping up your wargaming session and having a bottle of vodka handy even if just for decoration. To create the ambient, make sure to play Russian and German period tunes. This is one of my favorite expansions for MEMOIR '44.
