it depends - some dogs learn haw to sit near the line so the collar beeps but doesn't shock them = when the collar stops beeping they cross the line! had a clever one like that!! I usually change out my dogs about every 2 mos just to be safe

What is the expiration date of these batteries?

The expiration date (Month/Year) for PetSafe RFA-67 batteries should appear in the lower left hand corner on the back of the individual battery package. If that date does not appear, you might be dealing with a rip-off version, rather than genuine PetSafe batteries. To be 100% certain of quality, I strongly recommend buying these batteries directly from PetSafe.

I ordered and received some petsafe batteries but they are the wrong ones. Can I return them and get the correct ones?

If you did not order the batteries directly from PetSafe, you might be out of luck. I got a bad batch of RFA-67 batteries from an Amazon seller, and they refused to stand behind the batteries I received. Buy direct from PetSafe!
