I really like this globe, it is a good quality and the base is rock steady and solid. My only qualm is that it is correctly set at the angle of the earth, but the weighting is slightly off, so if you rotate it and let go, it rotates back around to the same place, which is annoying.@seller - if the is a way to tighten or overcome this, please share!

This is an unusually stylish and informative rendering of a normally traditional and rather dull item. It was a great hit with my well travelled husband. Everything appears to be where it should, but there is so much information that it does require close scrutiny, glasses or magnifying glass for some. However, it's very well produced, rotates very smoothly and is packed with information and out of the way islands. It's a realistic representation of the globe with blue seas and coloured land masses and I'm pleased to have it on display, it hasn't been relegated to my husband's study!

A very attractive and educational gift ...modern design...showing many details...I know it will be a hit!
