Good flow from pump. Responsive seller.
I had an issue with shipping I do not think was really the seller's fault but they were very quick to respond and sent a replacement. I have 2 of these pumps attached to diffent size hoses. Using the adaptor into a 1" pipe, the flow rate is very impressive. I had to actually set up a diverter and redirect some of the water back into the tamk I am pumping from as the flow was more than I needed. There is also a flow adjustment control on the pump I could have used, but I didn't want any backpressure on the the pump if I could avoid it. I have both pumps running 24 hours a day, one doing a 9' lift. I will update this review after several months if they continue to operate as they are.

Good for tight space overhead.
Oddly, could not find the name of the manufacturer/distributor on the pump. Unusual in that when you lay it on its side it fits in tight overhead. The adjustable height of water column is effective minimum to max. Feels like high quality. NOT so heavy as my earlier one and moore powerful.-- I forget the make. I can hear the hum from close by but it is not bad. Perhaps I would not if it were upright as it has rubber suction cups to stand on.

Functional pump for 2 months
It works great but the real test will be whether it lasts very long. If it does I'll add the last star, if not it will lose a star. It's overall quality is directly related to how well built it is and that's reflected by longevity.Updated, it failed today, right at the two month mark. This is Chinese made junk, I've had American made pumps like this last for 15 to 20 years! But those companies are gone now leaving only garbage like this. A submersible pump has only one moving part, the impeller, it's only failure mode is if the potted coils get wet somehow. There is no excuse for failure after pumping only water for 60 days.

Works well but it's filled with pebbles
The pump functionally works fine, so I'm happy about that. It's just that there are a couple minor unexpected features that surprised me.It's filled with pebbles. Yes inside the pump there are a bunch of pebbles lying around. Presumably they are there to weigh the pump down for stability. It still works fine, it's just a weird way to add weight.Next, there is an incorrectly injection molded plastic part (picture attached). It does not affect the functionality of the pump. The part is iust a cosmetic cover. Still, it's weird to see that get past quality control. It still works though so I guess it's alright.

Great for outdoor ponds and works well in heat.
Bought this to replace pump in fountain at my business. I have it outside in the Florida sun and it runs for 12 hours a day. So far no problems. It pumps strong enough for water to come down waterfall and make that lovely trickling sound. My pond is approx 40 gallons of water with 3 level rock waterfall. Read your instructions on how much water it needs to function.

Durable for the price!
The media could not be loaded. What I like about this water pump is that you can adjust the suction according to the size of you water tank. It also come with different sizes of nozzles. It is not loud and I don’t hear any noise at all.

SLOW, no way it is 1340 GPH!
The price is cheap, really cheap so I did not give it a 1. The rating is for 1350 GPH but my danner mag9.5 is considered 950GPH and pumps far more water than this thing. Yes, the mag9.5 is 3 times more money but it is also far stronger and faster water mover. If I had known this I would not have bought it.It should still work to aerate my water but we will see how long it will hold up.
