I was disappointed to find that this cable uses "litz wire" for the conductors. BUT YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY.I'd planned to use this for a non-audio low-frequency hobby project that needed a cable with a TRRS plug on one end. I cut off the female end and was going to strip the inner wires and solder them to a circuit board. But litz wire cannot be stripped because each little sub-strand is coated. It's possible to burn the insulation off (there are YouTube videos), but I just used a different cable for my project.But for anyone using this as it was intended, the litz wire is a good thing.

This works fine if you're only extending the cable of a headphones with no mic, but if you want to use this with a headset then it's no good. The stereo output signal causes significant feedback in the microphone signal. This means that whoever you're talking to on a voice call will hear a loud echo of their own voice or whatever audio is playing over your headphones. It's not just annoying; it makes it impossible to talk with anyone.I tried both of the cables I got in my two pack with different wired headsets on different computers, and no matter what I connected them to they both had exactly the same problem. So I have to assume this is a design flaw and not a manufacturing defect.

I was looking for a headphone extension of ~2ft to have more freedom during video conferences, but the only options that I found did not have 4 poles or didn't meet my expectation; After looking around for an hour, I saw this one and some others. I wasn't sure this was a good fit for me because it was longer than what I was looking for, but the price and the description looked appealing. I kept browsing, adding and removing items to my cart and finally narrow the search to two options. Given the price, I decided to get both (around the same price and specs).I received both cables and my first impression of this one was "wow, this looks better than I expected", the cable is a little thicker than my previous one, but actually that's a good thing. I use it for my headset during conferences and you know, you move a lot, you need to reach into your notes and so, and this cable looks tough. The plugs are metallic but easy to connect and disconnect. I really liked how the cable feels and best of all, it does not tangle. I didn't notice any loss in sound or quality degradation.

I'm one of this people that used to rely on Amazon reviews and when I realized there are lots of fake reviews, I started using other websites to filter the fake ones as much as possible. I'm very skeptical still because I work too hard for the little money that I make. That being said, these are EXCELLENT cables and the 5 star reviews are right.I got the shorter length (white)... black would have been nice but when you get them and understand the quality you are getting in terms of build and sound, you quickly dismiss color. I do believe that many people use black so they would sell a ton more if they had that color. First of all, when I uncoiled them, they seems to want to stay coiled but not tightly. I don't know what material it is but this will not get tangled... period. THAT was when I really started paying attention... they have gone the extra mile here. The connections at the end are not flimsy and fit like other cables I have. Cable is slightly thicker but definitely will not tangle and the sound quality is AMAZING. I am so impressed that I now use my Note 9 wired on my commutes and get the full sound quality... used to use wireless. I had great wireless earbuds but I still prefer the sound of wired and the extra cord length makes it easy to put the phone in passenger seat. I no longer get the occasional drop signal either. Take a chance... you can return if it doesn't work out but I'm probably gonna buy a few more just in case this seller stops selling them.

I am not joking. For whatever reason, neither of these cables worked. I was replacing a shorter (3ft) cable with this 4 footer so I knew the connections and devises worked and the old cable worked. Not just one but both of these in the pack didn't work at all. If I jiggled the cable a little, I would get a blip of sound but it wouldn't last more than a second and only when the jack was moving around in the port. I ended up buying a cable from Walmart and that works great. Please don't waste your money.

I bought this cable less than a year ago; I have used it very lightly and it recently started working only intermittently. The headphones still work, but the microphone cuts in and out. Changing microphones didn't help; changing cables fixed the problem. I won't buy this brand again.

I wanted to extend my analog headset cable. One of these cables is just completely dead, gave no audio or mic connection. The other worked for audio/mic, but it made the quality really bad for both, and then the spring in the female side of the connection became to weak to hold my headset cable after only a few disconnections.These are extremely poor quality. It's very hard to find good cables on amazon, and I think I'll just use other sites from now on.

My earbud cord was too short to reach my cpu which sits on the floor by my desk. I needed to use earbuds for podcasts and such. If you know what you need in terms of how many poles your extension should have, that's great. Mine required a four pole. This is perfect. Works well. Gets the job done. No issues. Great value. Two in the package!

This does exactly what you expect it to do. I'm using it to connect a digital piano's headphone out to a small mixer. There's no discernible noise that I can here. For the money it's well made. I'm very happy with it.

Los cables parecen ser de buena calidad, tienen buen grosor y funcionan como deberían, pero al conectarlo a mis audífonos note que la cubierta metálica del conector se desprendió con gran facilidad. Esto se repitió en ambos cables, lo que me deja pensando que la durabilidad del producto no debe ser muy buena a largo plazo.

Con estos dos cables, tengo los conectores de audio de dos computadoras en el mismo lugar, y más accessibles para poder cambiar los audífonos / micrófono a cada una de ellas sin tener que estar buscando el conector directamente en los equipos. Ya dependerá de la instalación que tenga cada quien.
