I wanted some socks that would be cool but not fall down in wellington boots: I have a smallholding and spend a lot of the day in tough footwear. It can be irritating to have to keep pulling up socks, or have them around my toes at the end of the boots! These socks have been a pleasant surprise as they are lovely and soft and they stay up. There is ribbing across the middle of the foot and the ankle which probably help them stay up but they are not too tight. Being short ankle socks they are cool without being as low cut as some. They've washed well despite my boots being pretty dusty inside - I've only just got them so don't know how durable they will be as all my socks get a hard time!

These socks are soft, comfortable and dont slip down when you walk. I have bought others that slipped down into the trainers after walking for a while. But these defiantly stay up no matter how far you walk. Just one thing though. I am a size six shoe and these are only just big enough. A bigger size then it would probably not fit properly. Good value for money and quick delivery.

Lovely cotton socks. Wore one pair and kept feeling a lump in my shoe. After searching for the cause I realised the inside of the socks have material from the stitching that makes up the writing on the sole. I'm hoping this wears down, if not I'll just cut it out.

I am just about to order more of these amazing socks. They do not slip down, nor do they leave marks above the ankles. I was very concerned about this possibility as I have a leg, that through injury, is considerably thicker than the other. There is a woven band around the middle of the foot and there are no joining around the toes that cause discomfort.Simply love them . They fit so comfortably that I am able to wear a pair of shoes that were OK in the shop but I was unable to wear them for more than an hour.

Comfy socks but they seem to slowly be getting smaller on every wash (I only cool wash and line dry), so disappointing.

I cant wear trainers with no socks, I just don't like the feel of the trainers on my bare feet. Equally, I don't like socks that disappear into your trainer and you have to keep pulling them back out! These have enough elastic so that they are a good fit and they stay in place regardless of what you are wearing. They allow your feet to breath and are some of the best trainer socks I have bought. Hopefully they keep their elasticity, if not, I will update the review. Excellent for the summer and a decent price. They also come in a handy little pouch.

Had these socks for a while now washed and worn many times and still look good with no sign of wear will be buying more

Love these socks, just right for the summer months. Love the colours, they are very comfortable and stay put around the ankles. Have not washed them as yet but the material is of good quality. Would certainly buy again.
