KOOLSOLYFishing Hat,Sun Cap with UPF 50+ Sun Protection and Neck Flap,for Man and Women

I was looking for a hat to wear to help shield me from the sun since my baseball cap wasn't really helping protect my ears or neck at the time. I eventually bought a full cover face mask to help protect my neck when i wore the cap but I still wanted a hat that would shield me more. That's when I stumbled upon this hat. Il start off with some pros first;- Shawl and face mask cover are easy to attach and detach- Hat feels lightweight- The mesh lining band on top helps keep you cool by letting in a breeze- The drawstring works easily to tighten and hold the wat in place for the most part- Cap part of the hat is bendable/foldable- Offers full protection from the sun- Size for me is perfect!- Foldable/compactable for easy storageCons;- If it's too windy, even with the drawstring it'll still try and fly off- Face mask isn't exactly as tight (not the word I'm looking for but can't figure out how to describe it) as I'd want it to be- Even the slightest amount of wind blows the face mask part up into your face. Which can be dangerous when walking, jogging, running, hiking etcAside from those few cons, which one of those cons can easily be fixed by not using the face mask part, this hat is perfect. In fact I use my own full face mask (YAKeNU brand boight off Amazon) in combination with this hat. I also put the hat over my ponytail and ears to help try and keep it more secure when it's overly windy since again, the drawstring can only help so much for that. So far I've been wearing it daily since I got it. And for $10, at the time of this review, I say it's definitely worth it!

Just received my hat and absolutely love it so far. Fits great. Is versatile. Can wear with the shield or not with ease. When you wanna use a face shield, you can just take off the hat and pull it down assuming you’ve already got attached to the fasteners. If you want to remove the face shield or just not wear it, you can take off the hat tuck it up in the base out of the way while keeping the back shield on, and if you decide you don’t wanna wear the back shield that 2 can stay connected and just popped up into the base of the hat so that you don’t lose any of the attachments but have the same flexibility to wear them or not.

Good product and does what it needs to do. A little flimsy but my son likes it. Helps keep the sun off your neck and face, keeps bugs away and paid a good price. It fits his head well, has nice color and it was comfortable. Would buy again.

This hats provide great sun coverage while being light and fresh. The nose piece has a material that allows for comfortable breathing. Both, the neck piece and the face one, are detachable.It has hooks. Maker could use different types of hooks for easier attachment.

I bought this specifically for sun protection when going out, and the actual experience is that the effect is OK, but it is easy to sweat inside the hat.

Love it so far! I don't fish but I work in the yard a lot in Alabama and this really keeps the sun off my face and head and keeps me cooler. The mesh over the eye section makes it easy to see but keeps the bugs from getting in your eyes. I'm buying another one for my sister. Great value!
