Ever After High CLD86 Enchanted Picnic Blondie Lockes Doll

Blondie Locks is very adorable! I'm really glad I got her! She has a blue headband with three bows and has golden short hair. Her blue makeup is very lovely with pink lip gloss to top it off. Her dress is very cute! I wish it came in my size! Anyway, her dress is a blue picnic blanket looking dress with yellow bow, ribbon, and bears. She has yellow ruffles on the very bottom of her dress to give it a more finished look. She has a brown bear picnic basket. The basket can not open unlike Raven's Queen's picnic basket. She has black shoes with ruffles and bows. The shoes are open toed. Blondie Locks dosen't come with gold stand that's in the stock photos though. I put the blue earring and yellow ring on blondie to give her a more detailed look.

I got this as an inexpensive intro to Ever After High for my five-year-old because she's smitten with them. I wanted to see how this one holds up before getting ones with more small, delicate pieces. I think they're recommended for age 6 and up so I'll probably get her more detailed ones then. My daughter is fairly careful with her toys, but she had a couple monster high dolls she got at age 3 and 4 that kept losing parts of their arms and legs. This one is cute, although I'm nottttt sure why she needs stripper heels. I do wish the body shape wasn't so disproportionately super-skinny.

Really pretty designs! I love how simple but cute the dress is. The shoes are so beautiful. The hair is a little shorter than the picture shows, but I wouldn't say that's a problem, it's still super cute. This is just my opinion, but the makeup seems like a little too much:/ The box was super damaged but I couldn't tell if that was from the journey or not, since the package it came in was super flimsy.. But at least it came two days early! That was a happy surprise!

My 9-year-old daughter LOVES this Ever After doll. Even almost a year later, it's still one of her favorite dolls.I like that these are cute, not "mature-looking", and that they have fun tie-ins with traditional fairy tales.We went on to get her two more dolls from the series, because she liked this one so much.

Cute doll but the hair is so greasy & oily feeling. Looks super cute in the box but once we took it out and you feel the hair I wish we didn't buy it. I wonder if there is anything to do about the texture.

I bought 5 of the Ever After High dolls for my nieces and my daughter. It is not only a toy, it can be kept as collector items too because they are really beautiful and well made dolls.I believe most girls age 5 to 12 will like to have a doll like that.

I had the same sticky-hair problem that some of the other reviewers had. Other than that, the only problem with mine is that the yellow ruffle around the bottom of the dress has some spots where it's stuck turned up. I can probably fix the dress with an iron, but I don't know how to fix the sticky hair.

My review is a warning for parents etc who might be buying this doll for a child to play with. The doll itself is 5 stars but I have bought 2 of these Blondie Lockes and both have had some sort of nasty residue in the hair. It's so bad it has stained the packaging. It's tacky to the touch as well. I buy dolls to do custom repaints so any defects are no issue for me, but I would never give this to a kid to play with. I should add that this is the only doll I've had this problem with other than one Monster High doll and that wasn't as bad as this one.
