Love motown and miss hearing it on the radio! This book brought back a lot of memories. Words and chords are easy to follow and are great for piano

For beginner guitarist this book can come across as intimidating. At first I was only playing one song with the book. (I can't help myself) because the chords were easy. This book has actually helped me to progress and challenge myself so I really do appreciate it alot! After the frustration dies down then the learning begins. My only things I need to mention is that if you aren't familiar with barre chords and your hand hasn't gotten use it. Make sure you take breaks to avoid hand injuries. The muscle have to loosen and strengthen.

I loved Motown produced songs as a youth and bought it just because it's Motown. The songs brings back memories and is a must buy for me.

This book gets you in the ballpark. There may be some other things that you may want to apply such as melodies and chord conversions.What can I say? I'm a little biased because I'm from Detroit.This is worth playing around some Motown grooves.

Item was way smaller then I thought

It is always amazing to me that some of the greatest songs ever recorded have 3 chords or less. I prefer the simpler songs due to my novice status as a guitar player. Being self taught the Hal Leonard series makes playing easy.

This product took so long to get to my house I thought it was stolen from the mail. Although, when I did receive it, it was in excellent condition.
