The House on Tombstone Hill aka Dead Dudes in the House & The Dead Come Home

Man, I remember seeing this movie as a kid.. I knew not as dead dudes in the house.. This movie is great but it needs a remake.. I wanna see how the old lady kills mark and butchers Steve with the saw.. Then it would be cool to see how the dead came back to life.. There's just a lot of things this movie leaves out that makes you think and wonder..........

I loved this movie when it played on Cinemax way back in the day. I even loved it when Troma put it out on a crummy 3 pack. Now that Vinegar Syndrome has given it the treatment, this is a solid cheesy horror movie with fun gore. Don't ask your brain to work too hard. This is pure schlock fun. Dig the extras too.This still holds up after all of these years.

I am very pleased with this restoration and release. The blu-ray is very well done and the picture has literally never looked better!The sound was good, everything was as I remember it being so many years ago.This film was a VHS favorite amongst my family and friends. It started out as a joke, hey watch this move, and we grew to enjoy its campy popcorn fun.It's honestly a horrible movie but really enjoyable in a Troll 2 kind of way.🤔Thank you, Vinegar Syndrome!!!

I saw parts of this movie as a kid at my cousins house late-night on cable and never knew what it was called and kinda of forgot about it. This is another one of those lost underrated gems from the 80's/90's that nobody talks about and it's DEFINATELY worth your time.

Exactly what is described! For those who only remember the one title! It was retitled. You get a blu ray and DVD and you get reversible cover art with BOTH House on Tombstone Hill and Dead Dudes in a house!

I'm not really entirely sure what the filmmakers of this movie were going for, but it's definitely a charming odd bird. Part haunted house/rubber reality movie a la The Amityville Horror meets A Nightmare on Elm Street and part goofy comedy a la Evil Dead 2. It doesn't always come together as a whole, but there are several great ideas here and some scenes are spooky and powerful. In some ways, it's very dreamlike and surreal and a bit like the Italian gorefest Ghosthouse. This seems like the perfect kind of movie for USA Up All Night back in the day. The gore effects are shockingly good.The Vinegar Syndrome transfer is way better than anyone could have ever expected and it looks excellent.
