32A 7.68KW EV Charger Level 2 Station, NEMA14-50 20ft Wall Electric Vehicle Charging Station for Electric and Hybrid Vehicles

I use this to charge my Chevy Bolt. Love the 32 amps! It charges my car from empty in about 7-8 hours. Makes it so I only have to charge about once a week or so and I can charge it in one night when I have a cheaper rate from my utility company. I did have to run a new 220v outlet to my garage which was kind of costly but that is nothing to do with the charger.The charger itself is super convenient. I love the LED display so I know when it’s charging, how much it’s charging and how close my battery is to full. It also has a button where I can turn the charger on and off even if it is plugged in to the car. My car has a timed charging option on it so I never use the power button but it’s a nice option. It has a long old charging cable that will stretch to the other side of my 2 car garage. I like that in case I get another EV (which I certainly will). The best was the price. Couldn’t find anything with all these bells and whistles for this price. There are other chargers I found with an app but that’s the only addition I could find that this charger didn’t have.The quality is good. Seems nice and sturdy. Installation was a breeze. Took about 30 mins start to finish. Instructions were very shoddy English so I didn’t use them. But I didn’t really need to either since it was pretty intuitive - the same as mounting anything else to a wall.

The media could not be loaded. Installation couldn't be easier. I quick-mounted a board in a convenient location with some wood screws. I then used the included template to figure out exactly where I wanted it and then drilled the holes. Unscrew the charger from the back plate, mount the plate with the included wood screws and then return the machine screws to their holes to lock the charger to the mounting plate. Plug it in. With someone to hold the charger up while I screwed in the machine screws, I was done in 40 minutes.Using this is super easy. Push the button on the front, plug the other end into the vehicle. You get a cool LED animation and a readout of the tech details if you need them. Sure, there's no advanced features like a mobile phone app, or tying in to your WiFi network but I don't need those things. Every EV I've encountered has a mobile app, so the vehicle will let you know when it's full. When you're done, disconnect then push the button to turn it off.Cords are very thick and flexible enough for most needs. The unit is surprisingly small, but has a heft to it. Everything fits together snugly and seems well made. There's a rubber cap on the end of the J1772 plug, if you're worried about water getting into the socket. For the price I paid, this unit is great.

I purchased this Level 2 charger for my Plug-in Hybrid. At first I opted to just charge my vehicle with the included 110v charger that came with my vehicle instead of just buying one before I took delivery of my vehicle. So glad I did because my new car has an app that tells me about the charging and how long it will take to charge, which means I do not need a Level 2 charger with WiFi. Why spend the extra money if I don't need to do so.Enter the LEFANEV 32A 7.68KW EV Charger Level 2 Station, for the price I paid it was totally worth it and I would recommend this Level 2 charger to anyone with a plug-in hybrid that does not know where to look first. Just make sure you know how many amps your car does accept, my car takes 32amps (32a).I believe this charger is an Outstanding Value for what you need in a Level 2 charger!

AS you can see I have two electric cars. With the included 110 volt chargers by BMW the I8 would charge in 8 hours, the I3 in 12-14 hours. With this device, the I8 charges in 1.5 hours, the I3 in about 3.5. I looked online to see who had a reasonably priced electric vehicle charger and found Lefanev. Since I didn't really need wifi integration (both cars already do it with my phone) I didn't see the need to have a charger that talked to my phone, and adds like $200 plus to the cost. I could not find the back plate to mount the device in the package (though gotta say, gorilla hooks worked just fine in a pinch) and got in touch with they're support team. They answered within hours nad sent me a back plate soon after. Very thorough, and even made sure to confirm that I received it later. The charging end had no issues connecting to the two cars, and you could see how quickly each one is charging. Excellent product (I never turn it off actually though it has an on/off button), looks cool in a dark garage without "trying to hard", and the customer support CANNOT be beat!

I purchased this in May 2022 when I purchased my EV. My EV had a free two year charging at Electrify America which I took advantage and seldom used this at home. Now the free two year charging is over and started using this. It stopped charging middle of the night and seldom finished charging. After one month of this working/not working, it is now not communicating with the vehicle stating "waiting for response from car". I am reading other negative reviewers and see that they have the same problem. Money wasted for few charge, IMO.Hope seller sees this and can reach out for a resolution. Any of you out there that have fixed the issue?

Got this off Amazon as it was well priced over other Chinese sites.First thing I did was remove the US Power plug and Charge Cable and replaced the Charge Cable with a Type-2 that came with the car (Peugeot 208e GT) - Amazon don't sell these for outside-of-USA cables (Type-2 required for rest of the world).Installed this self and, although not an electrician, I am a clever chap. Had to swap out the main garage 32a circuit breaker for a 40a and add a dedicated circuit breaker for the charger.I had some concerns over this being completely water-proof so ended up using silicone to seal the main cover before mounting it outside (there is no rubber seal).Overall, pretty happy with the charge-rate and it performs as advertised and made a difference from 20-hours to charge (with car-supplied domestic charger) down to 2.5-hours (both roughly 150KM to 350KM full charge).Definitely recommend this product.
