This works really well. I use it when traveling with the pot itself. It seals well. And washing is easy. As with all Ninja products it is big so you need space to store it.

The stainless steel pot fits well into the outer shell. The silicone cover fits the pot well. Both products are to my satisfaction. Emanuel

This lid is amazing! I had been putting off buying one for the longest time because I wasn't sure that I really needed it. After getting tired of using plastic wrap, I decided to buy it. It is one of the best purchases I have made. When I first opened the package, I thought it was a little weird, it is definitely real silicone. It felt heavier than I thought it would as well. I was expecting a regular plastic lid, but the fact that it is silicone makes it so much better! Not only does it create a tight seal (I know this because if you put it in the fridge the lid goes a bit concave as the food cools and the air inside it condenses), but it can also withstand a bit of heat. I use it to warm up leftovers instead of dirtying another lid or the pressure cooker lid. I haven't tried warming it on high or anything, but it works great if you just lay it on the pot and push the "keep warm" button or even to use the saute button low, med-lo and med. If you do this, make sure you just lay it gently on the lid, preferably with a little gap so you don't accidentally build up pressure in the pot. I would definitely buy it again if I ever need to!

If you have a Foodi, you absolutely NEED this lid for your inner pot! I use it practically every day to store leftovers in the Ninja's inner pot in the refrigerator. It is surprisingly thick, doesn't leak, and is a breeze to clean in the dishwasher. Other uses that I've found for it include placing it under my stainless mixing bowls to keep them from sliding off the counter or damaging my tile counter top. It doesn't pick up storage odors AT ALL - even from curries and seafood. It seals TIGHT, so it eliminates food storage odors from permeating other items in the refrigerator. Foil and plastic wrap can't do that! Bonus - it's less expensive than the Ninja brand lid, so I can buy Frankie (my Ninja Foodi) more toys! Great product - very satisfied with this purchase.

I was so excited when I finally got my stainless steel inner pot I couldn’t wait to use it. But I quickly realized I needed a lid to be able to just store my yogurt overnight in the fridge! Or if I had left overs and didn’t want to pour it into another container and clean the pot right then, I needed a lid! Now that I had more than one liner (the original and the ss) I could put one in the fridge and still use my Ninja with the other inner pot! This lid is great. It’s super heavy duty, a piece of cake to clean, and takes no room to store! I just leave it on my extra liner when it’s not being used because it fits both!

Worthless. Bought for my ninja foodie, and the lid doesn't fit the pot. This is despite the description saying it does. It feels like it's well made at least.
