Very well built
At first I was not sure it would be worth the price but when I received it I was instantly reassured that I’d made the right choice. This is very well made, thick plastic. It is designed so that the cups can lift out to clean so you don’t have to dump or twist them, (genius design!) however the insert is very hard to remove. But that’s a small problem for me as I empty it every morning to refill so I just rinse it with the hose. I can see this lasting a very long time. Chicks seem to like it, it mostly keeps their water clean for them. Overall I would definitely recommend this product! It’s a bit pricey but worth every penny. Holds about two gallons, I hang mine from the wire sides of my pen but it can be wall mounted with the included plates if that’s better for your setup.

This is My Second Purchase
Okay, so we all know watering and feeding units do not last forever. However, my girls literally abused the first one of these that I purchased 23 months ago. My girls have knocked off one of the cups. This was after they repeatedly jumped and landed on it. So it took a LOT of abuse. So now it is slowly leaking. The good news is that I can’t believe how long it has lasted. I purchased this one so I had a spare. I’m going to closely inspect the other one and will use my old one as a backup. I can’t say enough good things about this waterer. The seller/manufacturer even includes additional cups/nipples to make sure you have a backup should one cause a problem. Best waterer on the market in my opinion. It holds 2 gallons so my girls are never thirsty. I zip tied this to the wire and it held up great. No issues. 2 gallons of water = almost 20 pounds. The wire had no issues and this is going on 2 years. Oh, it also has a spot on the side that allows for tubing to be placed inside and the lid fits tight. I added the tubing with a spout so I can add water from outside the coop. Seriously, this one has it all!

Love this!
Ok I’m in love with this. I’ve got 8 chickens down from 13 thanks to the hawks. But I’m so sick and tired of cleaning out their other waterer every day. I thought this was kind of expensive but after reviewing all the others I chose this one. It’s very sturdy and well made I’m impressed. The brackets and extra hooks and cups are fantastic- stickers - really nice instruction booklet! They definitely care about their product & advertising/marketing no cheap black and white limited instruction form.My chickens drank from it immediately! I might get another and discard my old waterer!Winter hook up looks awesome too! I hung it on my pen door. I’m curious to see if they get dirt in the cups! I don’t think they will. I put it at shoulder height. Great sturdy product, lift the lid to see water level I guess. This is day one!

A few considerations ...
Likes: easy to clean, easy to fill great convenience for my 4 chickens and an overall great design.Dislikes: mountimg to wire with attached hardware can be problematic, easy fix with a small keychain carabiner clip. ..also chicken cups are medium strength and useless once cup is popped off as spring goes flying .. a fullgrown hen could (and has a few times now) somehow popped off the cup..draining the system..Solutions for dislikes, find some small carabiner clips for the mounting, you won't lose them as easilyFor the cups, maybe switch to a nipple year round? Or find a better cup to place so the cup cannot pop off.Overall the watering system works great. Mounting and water delivery has held up for the 9 months I've had it but I have had to replace the cups 3x. If the chickens remove the cup it can be snapped back on but without that spring, the auto water feature doesn't work and the container drains.

Do yourself a favor and get this. Immediately.
Absolutely in LOVE with this thing. It has my made my life so much easier in caring for my layer chickens. I can’t find a single flaw.PROS: sturdy enough. By no means is the plastic some crazy space grade material, but it is of decent quality. Super easy to setup; twist on the little nozzle thingy majigs, put 2 screws into the wall, hang it up, fill it up, and bam! Done. Easy to lift off the screws to refill, or just bring the hose into the coop. The lid pops off. The hardware(mount, screws), seems to handle water with no issues. Holds well in our hardie board walls. Haven’t seen a single lick of chicken poo since we’ve gotten this, they can’t roost on top of it. No more daily changing of water!CONS: None!!This thing has been a life saver. So glad we switched to this instead of the traditional “jug with rim-bowl” style. The chickens always sat up top and dirtied the water every single day. No more. Do yourself a favor. Spend the money on this, it will save so much in caring for them. I have six chickens, so I’ll probably be getting another one as soon as some more funds come in.
