Great for curly hair
I've been using this styling cream for years. I like it as a first layer for moisture with a stronger hold gel on top. The ingredients are clean, there are no artificial scents/fragrances, and it offers a little bit of hold for my wavy/curly hair. I'll keep using Andalou Naturals products forever!

New Holy Grail!
My holy grail for woke-up-like-this hair was bumble & bumble's styling wax, but that was discontinued a couple of years ago. Since then, I've been looking for something to take its place, and I think I've finally found it. The Andalou Naturals Smooth Hold Styling Cream gives a bit of hold without looking like I put anything in my hair. It's also a bit moisturizing and seems to be keeping my hair in better condition. Best part? It smells like an orange creamsicle. The main ingredients are aloe vera gel, cetearyl alchol, and sunflower oil. Aloe-based hair gels can often leave my hair feeling a bit crunchy, but the oils and butters in this styling cream prevent that. I have really sensitive skin and scented things often irritate me, but I haven't had any kind of reaction to this. Out of the tube, it's a white cream that looks like a thick lotion. It absorbs into my hair quickly, and a little bit goes a long way. I have a mostly-straight pixie cut, so a dime-sized amount is all I need to style my hair, so the 6.8 oz tube will probably last me at least 6 months. My mom gave this a go, and it worked wonders on her long, very curly hair--it looked much bouncier and more defined. I expect that this will have good results on most hair types.

It Gives My Hair OOMPH!
I love what half an inch of this styling cream does for my baby-fine curly hair!! After I spread it all over my wet hair, I then blow dry it with my head bent over. And wow, after I have dried my hair, it looks like I just had a soft curl perm done. Even my hairdresser couldn’t believe the end result of what the hair cream did for my hair!!

A solid substitute for Moroccanoil Styling Cream
This is a very nice styling product that is a good substitute for the excessively expensive and often fraudulent Moroccanoil styling cream. I like that this provides a soft hold that keeps my hair from getting frizzy or flying away without giving it that gross sheen and crunchy feeling that stronger pomades or gels often do. The smell is not bad and the texture is nice to work with as it works easily into the hair. All in all, this is a product that I am probably sticking with when I run out, which, I imagine, will not be for quite a while as the tube is quite large and you don't need to use too much.

Perfect for guys who don’t want to look “styled”
Unlike the curly hair reviews I have straight hair and if I let it just dry it’s a mess. This stuff keeps my hair where I like it to be. It’s perfect for guys who just want to look natural.

Works on my wiry hair and smells nice
Good styling product and smells nice. Much more economical than the salon brands and does an equally good job. Also like that it's supposed to be less toxic.

Does not hold
This does not hold at all, even if I apply a fair amount to my towel dried hair, which is wavy, once my hair dries it looks like I put nothing on.

With it there's no fussing around!
This is the hub of my hair care for styling to softness, to management to cleanliness. It's texture, weight on the hair, and no-scent is the only one I need. I keep trying others recommended, but they confuse and abuse this one product that does it all including detangling. I don't how this product has come to be, but I wish the product is never pulled from the shelves.
