Bought this for my 10 year old daughter to use as she loves being out and about finding things and thought this would be good to relieve the lockdown boredom.Have to say this is a great starter detector to buy. Very lightweight and easy to use. If you set it to all metal to start with you get lots of beeps for old bottle tops etc but it's the best way to start. We found all sorts of tat at our local beach but also a few coins etc. Since taken out across fields with some success too but more importantly its kept her busy and in the fresh air!For the money I think this is worth every penny. I didn't want to buy a toy one as I've had them before and they've been rubbish so this seemed to be the best one to go for and I've been really pleased with it.

So all went together fine, slapped a battery in started scanning, all I found was old empty cans, which was a waste of around 5 hours but it was fun, the spare which comes with it is very poor, wouldn't advise digging in mud, soil, grass, maybe sand will be fine but thats about all. Broke after 5 digs in soil. Very disappointing. Overall used the metal dec once, not beeb out since been to busy to look for gold. Might have to get it back out day. Battery lasts awhile. Very lightweight, detector detected silver, gold, tin ect, was really hoping to fine gold. Failed so bad lol. Decent for a starter and alittle fun, think overall I found 78 empty crushed cans underground, must of been a homeless persons patch.

I was a bit weary at first but first use out in the field to find some lost mole traps under ground and it did not dissapoint i managed to find them all, easy to use and assemble. Only issue i do have is i dropped it on the kitchen floor and both covers for the batterys broke off so the plastic is quite weak but none less ideal for anyone starting off, fun for kids or just ideal to have as a tool you might need.

What I received was not what the picture showed. No little spade and the screw provided was far too big to hold the head on. The hole in the shaft was more than half its size 🤬. Present for grandson not good

Great item! Sturdy but quite lightweijght.

Great product, easy to put together and use. Althouh the spade is useless it snapped the first day i used it.

As a starter metal detector it is fine, it enables you to see if you want to progress to the next level of metal detecting using the next more advanced type of metal detector

Bought this for my Granddaughter so she could start. She loves it and is happily roaming over beaches and fields (with permissions) looking for the next great hoard!!The features are good, adjustable height and sensortivity.
