REPLACEMENT CHARGER FOR REMINGTON HC353 / HC363 / HC365 CHARGER - 3 PIN UK PLUG

The items voltage/amperes did not match the unit it was charging. The required voltage /amperes is 3.2VDC 1500mA. The replacement charger for HC365 5VDC 2000mAThe actual Voltage/Amperes is not indicated in the brief on the Amazon web site all its says is that it is the replacement charger for the Remington HC353/HC363/HC365.The DC plug is not a perfect fit as it islander than it should be.I used the charger upon delivery, after charging for the prescribed period, the charger was warm but not overly so, the Clippers worked for about 30min before fading, it was only then I checked the name plate on the charger.I am aware that some chargers output a higher voltage than is required (for various reasons) but this is one 1.8VDC over, I cannot say if this will damage the battery over time. this is for the manufacturer/Dealer to answer.
