I am getting rid of a plastic cutting board - risk of plastic residue on or in the food is the issue.I saw these were on sale and decided to purchase them.Even though I rated these as 4 star - I really like these and would actually grade them higher at maybe a 4.7/4.8.The only reason I did not give a 5 was because while washing and drying (splinter #1 on drying) and then applying mineral oil (splinter # 2 & 3). I feel the boards should be a little better finished and should not have defects (nicks in the material) where the splinters occurred.Other than that minor issue, the quality does seem nice and they are very usable sizes and I look forward to getting plenty of use out of them.

I received this set of cutting boards they were packed very well. I used the smaller one first and noticed a small crack on both sides of the board. At first I thought it was the grain in the bamboo but no it was a fine split that after using a second time it had gotten longer and wider. I was disappointed and notified the seller by email. I received a quick response with an offer to refundor replace. I really liked this set so I chose to replace. I was sent a beautiful replacement no cracks or splits. This company has excellent customer service. They take pride in their products. I would definitely buy from them again.
