MCGARD 64015 Black Bulge Cone Seat Style Lug Nuts (M12 x 1.5 Thread Size) - Set of 4

If you have been thinking about buying these stop thinking and buy. I ordered these to go with a new set of wheels I purchased and these have to be by far the best lug nuts I have ever had. They are extremely durable and do not flake and rust like all the others I have had before. I am a very picky person (drives my wife crazy sometimes) but these are a great quality product. I would highly recommendUpdate: 8-30-12 I have had these lug nuts on my truck for a while now and they seem to be holding up good for the most part. The finish still looks good except for a few of them turning like a brownish color. I do not use any type of chemicals on my wheels so it may be something with the sun or something else not sure. They have been took on and off the truck a few times for maintenance and the finish has not cracked in any way just slight discoloration.I would still highly recommend these and will buy again if needed for some other vehicle.

I replaced the cracked and mangled chrome plated lugs that were on my car with these 64015 lugs and 24026 wheel locks. They fit great and have held up even better than the manufacturer lugs. It also matched the rim color of my vehicle better as well. Overall I'm very pleased and I believe if you have any issues McGard warranties their lug nuts to some extent as well.

These lug nuts look awesome. The black chrome finish is very strong and seem to hold up very well.I put these on Rays Volk ce28n and they are a perfect combo for tuner wheels.I have taken the wheels on and off a few times and they don't seem to chip at all. I did however start to notice the cone seating start to scratch against the seating surface, but other than that it is a great product

If your looking to get rid of those ugly plain or chrome lug nuts these are definitely what you need

I was a bit disappointed with the durability of the wheel lugs. I have removed and reinstalled the lugs one time. I used a doubled up walmart bag between the lug nut and my socket to remove and reinstall the lugs. A few of the lugs paint chipped. I also bought the locking wheel lugs and the same thing happened. Even without trying to protect the lugs without a buffer, I would expect they would not chip the first time I had to take them off and put them back on. I gave them a 4 rating only because they do look good and maybe others are not having the same problem I had otherwise I would say look for another option.

You can buy cheaper lugnuts, but: for our use case (a daily driver, equinox LT) - this lug-nut kit is a perfect fit, and stands u to the potential of an impact driver.

Purchased the McGard lug nuts based on past experience with their chrome lug nuts. The chrome finish lasted 7 years till I sold the car. I purchased the black lug nuts last fall for a new set of winter wheels. After one season they all look as shown in the pictures. I’ve tried to clean them up but the markings are in the finish. Yes, we use lots of salt up north, but like I said I never had issues with the chrome nut.
